He already had at least one attorney for the court case involving the rape allegation or maybe it was two (thinking they are military). His parents could have hired a civilian Atty. for him.

Possibly sited in Shreveport, Louisiana getting off a Greyhound bus.

I think you just show em your boarding pass and not ID. I would think he would NOT wear his military uniform or make it known he was a marine. First, it has his name on it and secondly...he is trying to hide.

If he has lots of friends, from the sounds of it, with the harrassment and stuff being done to Maria, he does/did.

Could they have LENT him a shirt/coat etc w/ THEIR names on it? Is there a way to "disguise" your name? (patches, ribbons, another type of ID tag etc?)

Got to get on the road this afternoon, for a 4 hour drive down to NY (where my company HQ is) -- but I'll be listening to Fox News on my XM radio. But I'll also be thinking of grilled cheese sandwiches all the way there!!

MMMMMM.... comfort food...

I hope they catch the today.

If he's on a bus then I wonder if her bus ticket purchase had been influenced by him. Maybe he gave her the "Let's run away together to Mexico" then duped her (I agree with the other poster who already said this).

Of course, we might not ever know since he's so lawyered up -- even if they catch him he'll be mum.

You will end up stopping off at a fast food place (Sonic makes good ones!). I will have everyone craving em before long. hehehe

I think they will be able to track him down either today or tomorrow. He can't go that far underground, imo, unless he has family willing to hide him out.

It would be easier just to wear street clothes than borrow someone else's uniform...besides he would want to look like a "regular Joe".

At 8 am...Yes, that's what I heard too, but at 4 am, I thought he was leaving his home...But someone else stated they believed it was base...So that does pose a difference. BUT I still think she knew something...too much left behind not to think something was amiss.

My thing was, if he left his HOME @ 4am, how could she have NOT known..Unless it is common for a MM to get called out in weird hours of the night? (I seriously have no knowledge of the inner workings of the military...dated a guy that went in, and after a period of time he was out. When we ran into eachother many years later how the military went...thinking I could glean some info out of him lol, he stated "after an extended weekend in Mexico, it became my duty to get the hell out of the army...he's never coughed up details to this day :waitasec: )
