It is sad, and it's also sad that a 13 year old is already morbidly obese. At least that's what it looks like from the photo.

Sorry if I sounded insensitive to young Peyton's death, I didn't mean to. However, I don't believe his passing represents a new level of covid morbidity.

146 deaths since yesterday? The Showmestrong website shows only 64 deaths in the past 7 days. Perhaps a lot of previous deaths have been reclassified.

I never know where their #'s come from. I double check the math and that is all. Maybe they reported them wrong. I really don't know. I also see what you mean.

I wasn't blaming you, my friend. You've been doing a great job since day one. Your reporting has been exemplary.

I did look it up and found this:

"Missouri reported 146 new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, a record one-day increase, according to Post-Dispatch data.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services said that 138 previously unreported COVID-19 deaths were added to the state dashboard, after the department reviewed death certificates.

Three of those deaths occurred in September, 123 in October, and 12 in November, the department said."

Missouri seems to have trouble getting the counts rights on time.

I wasn't saying you blamed me. Your good! I am just glad to know someone reads the thread and cares like I do about what happens in Missouri. I just wish they would take it more serious.

@Jewels53 - I always read /really appreciate your updates and care deeply about everyone - even those that have a "different" opinion! While numbers are rising at a rapid rate I have seen quite a downtick with people taking it serious in the ICT area in the past few weeks.

I am glad you are seeing a downtick of cases of ICT area. Now where is the ICT area. KC and metro are not taking it serious as there is an increase in cases. Of course some of those metro area's are on the Kansas side along with some counties on the Missouri side. I think it is more people just are willing to take that risk.

I wear a mask where ever I go which is very few places.

My bad....the downtick reference was with regards to people taking NOT taking it seriously here (Wichita) any longer when our numbers, as well as the rest of the country and world, seem to be exploding. Everyone here now knows someone who has tested positive - this is recent in only the past few weeks. It is absolutely insane to me that I see more people NOT wearing masks more recently than in the previous months. SMDarnH!!!!! I also wear a mask where ever I go, which is very few places also. I even wear a mask in my "closed door" office.
