I can't believe that I have to spell this out. Your wife said earlier today that you didn't even know Garrison. But you had previously claimed that Dustin and Garrison knew each other and had been over to your apartment briefly once. So no one was saying that you were best friends, or even friends, but rather that you had said Dustin knew Garrison and Garrison had been over to your apartment once briefly. You can know who someone is, with out being their friend. And if Dustin knew Garrison, as you have stated in the past, that's a pretty valuable piece of the puzzle in my opinion. Especially when you tie that in with the FACT that Garrison gave police information that was only known to police at the time, that a judge felt held enough probably cause to sign off on a search warrant on one or more properties. And, just because they didn't find the women, doesn't mean that they weren't on the property or properties they searched. We don't know what evidence they did or did not find. The search warrant return, remains sealed.

I never said that. What I said was he was not friends with Garrison and he wasn’t.

Please its more than clear that he was expressing some level of defensiveness. But what ever. That's not the important part. You said they didn't know each other. But they did. How is that spinning anything. They may not have been friends, but that doesn't negate the fact that he knew Garrison, or knew who he was. It also doesn't negate the fact that he said that Dustin and Garrison were at the apartment at one time briefly. How is that spinning anything? It's not in any, way, shape nor form. Respectfully.

I said they were not friends. That is not the same as not knowing someone. I know the person that checks me out at the grocery store, but I would not call them my friend. Now who is spinning something. You even changed what I said.

More inaccurate information. I’ve never said Garrison was at my apartment. Why would you make that up?
I have been crystal clear every time I’ve talked about this. I met Garrison one time while buying weed at the Sheraton hotel and I may have seen him over at Dusty’s ex girlfriends house on one other occasion but I dont know for sure it that was actually him or not.
He’s never been to my apartment. I’ve never been to his. Only the hotel and Jamie’s house (maybe).

Also when it comes to adrenaline I find that ones that seek it out need to more than a one and done kind of thing. They usually try and push it further. I know when I’m sea kayaking once I crash through a wave I can not get enough waves.

BASBMFF: Now, that's an interesting observation.
IMO, grave-robbing would likely produce quite an adrenaline rush.

Not from Mike’s perspective. I’ve heard what happened off and on for 23 yrs and every time it is the same. He felt bad and just wanted nothing more to do with it. Mike is not an adrenaline driven person.

What about the other two?

Does anybody think we're going to get a Perry Mason "Yes, I did it!" m0ment here? I don't. Badgering other posters about their recollections and feelings isn't gonna make it happen either. Maybe my perception only, and if so please forgive me, but it seems there is an effort by some to MAKE people say what they want to hear, fitting their own theory of what happened and not what REALLY did which remains a MYSTERY still.

Yes.

As someone who claims to have talked with Sherrill, maybe you could tell us what Mary talked with Sherrill about on the phone shortly before she disappeared?

It might be deleted since you won’t get verified but I’m sure we’d all be interested in that information.

Dale?

Did you or your friend that dated Suzie know if any of the women had a stalker? Or was there any weirdos in the town that were suspicious?

Ok, fair enough I may have been confusing that with Susie being at your apartment. I apologize!! My intent is not to conflate or confuse this stuff any further than it already is. I sincerely apologize for not remembering that correctly!!! Sincerely Mike!

And they have not been questioned again in the 23 yrs I’ve known him. Actually the only contact he has had with them is by him. You are right I am connected and that is how I have info I can give like the crime stoppers call, the statements (yes, there is an s), and the fact Joe made a plea deal to testify.
You and your husband both have very valid points, and I just want to apologize to you as well for recalling what I thought I remembered incorrectly. I sincerely apologize for doing this. My intent is definitely to not muddy up this case with incorrect information, any further than it already is. Again, I sincerely apologize and will try to chose my words and recollections a little better in the future.

Because you put information that wasn’t accurate out there about a close friend of mine for people to take as fact. That tends to make me a little defensive.
Again, I'm sorry for my incorrect recollection and sincerely apologize to both you and your wife!! Sincerely!
But I'd like to add, I think you are on to something with Joe. You'd think that police would have charged him and held him accountable, before they even charged Dustin. Dustin didn't even enter the crypt, but Joe did. And I have wondered if there was a reason he wasn't charged, beyond the fact that he narked on you and Dustin. I mean, they had both you and Dustin all over the dang news, but there wasn't anything ever said about Joe other than he was found in jail in Illinois, and was going to be returned to Springfield for questioning. Then NOTHING. Not a peep about Joe. So I have to wonder why? Would it have been possible that Joe knew more about things beyond the grave robbing case that police were more interested in? Just something I agree with you about. And not meaning to beat a dead horse again, but again, I sincerely apologize for remember that stuff earlier incorrectly. The absolute last thing I ever want to do is bring any more incorrect information into this case than there already is. I'm sorry Mike!!

But I will say that me remembering incorrectly that Garrison was/wasn't in your apartment, but rather in a room at the Sheriton Inn doesn't negate the fact that Dustin and yourself had a connection to Garrison even if it was just a small one, I mean, lets not split hairs here on friendships -vs- brief encounters because that's not the point of me asking and I am by no means trying to tie you to this crime. I'm just trying to figure out if or how Garrison might play into this whole thing. Six in one hand half dozen in the other as it pertains to Apartment -vs- Room at Sheriton Inn. How well did you even know Joe if you don't mind me asking? Did he have knowledge that Susie had given police a statement regarding the grave robbing crime? Was Joe into "Other Things" or have connections to "Other People" that were into worse things. What kind of crowd did he run with? Do you know if Joe knew or ever crossed paths with Garrison or one of the Robbs??? I'm just trying to figure out if Joe or Garrison might have had any reason to be concerned about Susie and anything she may have known, or anything either one of them thought she may have knew. Because if either one of them, or both of them had a reason to be worried about Susie narking on them for something they thought she might have knowledge of, be it real, or just presumed in their paranoid heads, that may be something to consider looking deeper into.

Joe was charged. He did not get jail time with his plea, but still got probation. Mike has already stated this. These little things matter. When you skew information like this it feels you are forcing an angle.
