Bingo! That was my thought also! Let me give you a scenario that makes sense to me.It’d make more sense for Suzie to discuss Sherrill’s business with friends if her friends knew or knew of the people making threats against Sherrill. I think if Janelle and Mike don’t absolutely know who was responsible, they have a good idea.
I wish we knew what Mike and Janelle told LE and the McCalls immediately after they disappeared.
Sherrill was a well liked and trusted hairdresser in a small town, one of her clients disclosed something extremely confidential and personal to her. ( Could be regarding the supposed drug connection, money laundering, or even a potentially explosive domestic situation, many Rumors and Theories can fit this scenario)...
Sherril and Susie had an extremely close mother/daughter relationship, that could sometimes turn volatile, due to possible boundaries crossing friendship with motherhood.
In a moment of anger or just teenage drunkenness, Suzie disclosed this information as a way of “Venting”, unfortunately maybe to the wrong person, another “friend” turned “Frenemy” (Janelle), who unfortunately was not as discreet as Suzie, and possibly did not realize the consequences of her actions until it was too late...
Stacy was as everyone knows , just a tragic victim of time and circumstances...
