Excellent points that I've pondered as well. Why was the call to the house that Janelle supposedly received when she and Mike were in the house earlier, not mentioned to Police or noted in the original police report? Also, why did Janelle supposedly start calling the house at 7:30am as noted in the original police report, but then change her timeline a few years later when she was interviewed to her starting to call the house at 8:30am-9:00am? Who forgets specific details like that. And why, after going to the Delmar house at 12:30pm with Mike to hook up with the girls to go to the water park, and finding her "Friends" house open and cars there, and them missing, does she not return to the house until approx. 7pm. If she was so excited to be going to the water park the next day that she started calling the house at 7:30am, why does it take her until 12:30pm to arrive at the Delmar house, and then why does she seemingly blow off her friends and their plans to go to the water park, when she doesn't even know at that point why they aren't at the house. Why does she abandon her plans to go with her friends when she doesn't even know that the plans have changed. None of her story or actions make sense at all. And, like you said, and I have wondered as well, if she and Mike decided to go to the local water slide instead, why is she still soaking wet at 10pm at night? Surely they would have gone to the water slide, as implied by Janelle, much earlier in the day. Sounds to me like the "Plans" to go to the water park in Branson weren't that important to her, or circumstances changed drastically and the water park wasn't important at that point. These are important points in my opinion. Things that stand out like a sore thumb that have never been answered, that need to be for any of their actions to make any sense what so ever.
