That is the biggest red flag to me. Even though I was on my parents taxes until I was twenty five, I still had to turn in to them my W-2's so that my taxes could be done. If I hadn't turned those in, my parents would have asked me if I was still working or had my own taxes done. The only thing I can think of is that she continually lied that she was getting someone else to do her taxes. But sheesh, they should have notice no work paystubs (I think around the time this happened, paper checks will still given out more than electronic ones), no W-2's, and no tax documents (if Casey had them, they should have been in her room at that house). They knew she wasn't working, IMO. Why Cindy allowed Casey to be the way she was with an innocent child's health and welfare at stake everyday, I will never know.

Because she's an enabler.. it's that simple and that screwed up.

I have always wondered the same thing. I would have been asking Tony and his roommate when they saw Caylee last and how often they saw her and who Casey said she was with. It has always bothered me because she knew what a liar Casey was, so why not ask the people she was living with about Caylee while she had the chance?

bbm... i would venture a guess that Cindy DIDN'T ask those kind of questions because she would have considered it a 'family matter'. And, as a matter of rule in the Anthony household, everything was always "perfect" to the outside world (ie. "Casey was a wonderful mother', "there were no red flags", etc.).... so she was really just pissed at Casey and wanted answers from her directly (and she assumed getting the police involved would rattle Casey enough to tell her). But as we all know, it obviously didn't. :loser:

If indeed the defense does just as LKB did, and state they know that there never was a "nanny", then surely the multiple times that CA spewed the lies, and perpetuated them will be addressed. What really honks me today, thinking more about beautiful baby Caylee, is that CA actually had the pure unadulterated audacity to LIE for Caylee, regarding Caylee talking about "a white dog"!! What kind of grandmother does THAT? States lies from a dead ("missing") child? GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Hi, shotgun. IIRC, Casey's friend Annie had a dog. I always thought that Caylee was probably talking about Annie's dog, and that Cindy knew that, but twisted her story to suit the "Zanny the Nanny" BS. Either way, you are right, she's still twisting a 2 yr old's words... sick.

It is going to be interesting to see some if not all the mistruths that are outted in trial. I feel both sides have had to have the patience of Job to weed through all the information that was coming at a very rapid pace.
So many misstatments to choose from, I still go back to the 911 calls. CA not going straight home and calling the LE, but the way she listed each and every offense ica did, it sounded like a nothing 'I got a person here I want arrested' calm as can be, never mind about the noxious odor and not seeing Caylee and she went on about the police station and where this one or that one was located. She could have driven home from TL. Better yet, she could have called the LE at TL instead of wasting time. What would be the difference? A scene is a scene and CA is good at scenes. Pretty hush hush stuff going on for being so worried, but then again, they weren't so worried because if they were, 911 would have been called from the tow yard or prior to that.

Thinking out loud again and probably hashed and rehashed, but if CA was SO upset over not seeing Caylee for 31 days, why didn't she pose the questions to anybody in that apartment as a shocking utterance? There's ica and there's the boyfriend and roommates, where'd CA think Caylee could have been? Forget this babysitter, CA knew there was no nanny and no money for a nanny. BIG ? mark

I would have ask questions and tore that apartment apart looking for my granddaughter . Don't ask me what I would have done to casey if she were my daughter . If I answered I would get banned . Don't want to get banned I love it here .

I notice it when I saw it also.

KC says "she had a drum set yes" and when questioned further "she wipes her eyes to give her some time to think and then says "I think there are even other pictures" and Cindy gives her the answer because SHE KNOWS KC is lying and will continue if she lets her so she gives her the I know whose apartment it is.

KC will only tell the truth if she is "caught"; so I know she will never plea this case out; she will never tell what she did; she feels you can't prove it because you didn't see it.

This is what happens when you allow your child to steal and lie to you to such a magnitude that everything she does will eventually bring her down and everyone else she comes in contact with and it has.

How Cindy let her leave every morning with Caylee knowing she was not working and not having any idea where Caylee would be that day, is utterly and completely beyond me. I would be worrying all day long about Caylee and who she was with. Cindy knew that Caylee was a result of a one night stand; so why would she take a chance with Caylee's welfare like this. It is incredible to me.

We've heard from multiple witnesses (Mallory, LA's roommate, etc.) Casey was home a lot during the day claiming she could work from home on the lap top, she was sick, etc. I know that's how she probably got CA to purchase the laptop and let Casey take it over. There was a pc at home and CA worked during the day. Casey was going to parties at night and sleep overs at night claiming to be working and staying at Zanny's often with Caylee until TL. We know she hung out at Annie's all day with Caylee while they were friends. Even when she wasn't up to no good or didn't have to lie and say she was working it seems like she did.

IMO that has always just screamed so loud and clear that CA and GA would cover up for Casey. They both knew there was a dead body in the car they just didn't know at the time whose. GA said his first fear was ICA or Caylee. He screamed at the media "the dead body in his daughters car, wasn't his granddaughter ". IIRC he stated something to the affect of not knowing what or who Casey may have gotten herself involved in. New friends they didn't know and then publicly started turning all of them into drug users, dealers, criminals, excuses of fear for family and Caylee if ICA talked, etc. When Casey wouldn't produce Caylee after threats of LE (all they care about is Caylee) CA finally made good on those threats (give me one more day, no, I've given you a month). In ICA's mind they chose Caylee at that time by not covering her a$$. Had she admitted to CA an accident or something back then imo things would be very different right now.

CA was at the point of desperation for sure. It did not stop her from running her mouth to Amy on the way over, making a scene at a restaurant in front of friends over Casey being pregnant again according to Lee when she found out, things said to RP, etc. many more of course so I don't think that was her reasoning at TL's that night. We just found out recently about MH's testimony about ICA with-holding Caylee from CA so there may be other things we are not privy to, or not. We may never know. CA may not know herself. I believe from everything I have seen of CA's behavior there are times that she loses it and doesn't think clearly or calmly during that time. Who would? I have tried many times to put myself in those circumstances with my own daughter and I just can't trust myself to know what I would have done. Then I go back to things that happened before and during Caylee's life with Casey and CA. That's where I see the major difference. I can relax knowing my daughter and myself are much more normal. Life can turn on a dime. Had an accident occurred I can see her being afraid yes, but upset and traumatized. Lie to me and even LE, yes. However, if early on after she fed me lies too stupid to believe and she did not break down and tell me the truth, seek my understanding and support I would have been the first behind bars. LE is your first threat, chance, whatever...end of story.

I am still curious to know why the Anthonys had called 911 several times before any of this happened. The neighbors say they fought loudly and often, but I wonder if anyone (DT or SA) has details of those calls.

I don't think ica would have made it down the stairs in one piece if it were me. I know a lot was going on there, but couldn't ica take her items with her then, or CA take them? I would have been calling LE before I walked up the stairs and waited for them. I would have called 31 days before, but then ica wasn't missing for 31 days, only 14 since she stole the auto the same day it was impounded.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

State prosecutors want transcripts of testimony George and Cindy Anthony gave during court proceedings in their daughter's first-degree murder case.

In a document filed Friday, an Assistant State Attorney requested the transcripts from hearings that occurred March 2, 3, and 4.

Anthony, 25, is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony in the summer of 2008. Her trial will begin with jury selection May 9.

GA/CA need to watch their words...the State is getting their testimony from the March 2-4 hearings...We heard them both change their testimonies...:loser: I wonder if their attorney had a talk with them...but he wouldn't know about their half truths, mistruths and misrepresentations... since he just came on board...

I think the sickest thing that has ever come out of Cindy Anthony's mouth was that Caylee was alive. After writing up her own personal obituary for Caylee talking about her angel wings. After having a memorial for Caylee in front of thousands of viewers (in person and on television). After having her remains cremated!

Now that she is trying to get permission to attend the trial as the "next of kin" to the victim, Caylee is deceased? Amazing how Caylee is only a victim when it benefits them... and when it doesn't... :banghead:
