She has a history of saying the dogs were inconsistent and that was the reason they "had" to bring in a second dog. My understanding is if a dog hits on certain areas, they bring in a second dog to verify the hits are consistent.

:woohoo:Your take on animal behavioral expert, Mrs. Anthony, and her "interpretation" of the animals' actions is on the money....opps, had there been money involved, she'd have pocketed it!.....let's just say YOU are "spot" on (:waitasec:without a Dalmatian in sight!)!:waitasec:

On a serious note, a well respected & darling retired homicide detective of whom I'm extremely fond :blushing:, gave a PERFECT comparison example for "calling in the dogs". Bringing in another FRESH, "unbiased CANINE and subsequently an UNBIASED, FRESH handler who is provided MINIMAL specifics re: the HITS du jour allows for a confirmation or as we in the laboratory field call it a "rerun/reanalysis/redo/rebatch" with another exemplar/sample.:snooty:
:twocents: For heaven's sake, the second team are just a safety net/ a crossing of the "t" s and the dotting of the "i"s or again, DOING THE JOB BY SOP/THE RIGHT WAY!:truce: Kinda like the "stuff the anthony clan "claims" that the LEOs were NOT DOING~!!!!!!:furious:

If CA really thinks Caylee is still alive, shouldn't she still be wearing her "find Caylee T-shirts"?

The one and only time Cynthia, George and Lee Anthony tell the truth will be when they say who, which Anthony family member(s), was/were involved in Caylee's murder. And even then, it will be problematic to all to sort out fact from fiction.

Until such time, any and all words uttered from their respective lips will be a lie. Or as CA likes to refer to lies as "mis-truths".

Ya know, I can't even imagine a movie being made of "their story". Casey's yes, but the As? And I would think that the telling of Casey's story...the one that would sell...would not make the As look good at all!! I hope the family isn't banking on this...'cause nothing would turn off a viewer more than knowing that they would make a dime off their murdered granddaughter.
JMHO

At the very least ,it would have to be a mini-series.The convoluted lives, that led to the death of precious Caylee, could not be told in a 2 hour movie :furious:

You make some excellent points! However in my opinion only, the worst thing has already happened to Cindy.

Caylee is dead and ICA will be found guilty of her murder. There is nothing you or I can do or say, the law can do or the media can pay that will ever bring real happiness to CA again on this earth.

So true!
CA cared greatly how her little family was perceived. The lawn was manicured,LA had a great job,ICA had a great job and George.....uhm..he dressed well ,when he wasn't wearing a security guard uniform

Now the family closet is wide open with a light shining upon them.Every nasty little thing is being served up for public consumption. And it's not over! What will come out at trial ,especially during the penalty phase, will be devastating to Cindy.

She may be deluding herself that good buddy Jim will tell HER version of the story, but he will tell whatever brings in the most $$$$$$.

CA is punished each time she starts a new day.

I believe that makes Caylee sad . She loved Cindy.

Yes, all true and well said. The very people CA should not trust she chose to rely on and keep close to her as her closest advisors, and those who wanted to help and perhaps even comfort her she has pushed away in many cases in the nastiest way.

Very tragic and what a place on this earth to be. It will only continue to bring her pain no matter how she tries to make her world "right" she just doesn't "get" it. God help her if the clouds ever clear and she realizes what she has done.

So true, so very true. It will be perhaps be more than she can bare should this enlightment ever occur.

The litany of lies this family has told will be enumerated throughout the trial as needed to probably impeach any "mis-truths" told on the stands. What I am curious about is will the SA only use their lies as it applies to their current lie on the stand (i.e., while being questioned and CA lies about a phone call, will the SA only throw back evidence to contradict what she said on the stand) or, will the SA use the first opportunity to impeach the A's by reading a laundry list of their fabrications and lies to discredit their character completely?

I know many posters believe the Anthony's will be charged for all their "mis-truths" and "mis-directs", however I believe the LE and the OCSD had their number from the first 911 call and went through obligatory interviews with them but chose to ignore information they offered. The LE have focused on their goal of evidence in a direct line, carefully following and documenting the real evidence, while CA and the Anthony family were simply making "noise" in the background. I don't think they managed to impede the LE one iota.

Sad to think, though, that they needed to try. It also convinces me that they very well knew Casey was responsible. Think about it...you don't try so hard to discredit LE on one hand and then ask for their help to find your missing loved one (George).

I don't think that LE will ever charge Cindy and George for the lies and blatant obstruction they have done since June 17th, 2008. I agree that LE knew exactly what they were doing from the beginning, and they begged Cindy to stop at one point... for her own good... not for their own. All of their lies and obstruction didn't stop LE from doing their job.

Cindy can shout to the roof tops that LE did not look anywhere other than at Casey... which we all know to be a lie. In those early hours, LE looked into every single thing Casey had told them, they drove Casey around town where she pointed out several "important" locations... they even took her down to her place of employment (giggle) to get (I'm drawing a blank here?) whatever it was Casey told them would help find Caylee... which we all learned that Casey's real intentions of going out there was to hand out flyers to see if anyone had seen her daughter... ironically, Casey brought no flyers with her. :banghead:

No one goes into a case like this "wanting" to come to the conclusion that a mother murdered their baby. I am sure the detectives would have loved nothing more than to find that Caylee had been taken by the "nanny" and that she was alive... I really hate that Cindy and George so carelessly accuses these fine men and women of doing nothing to help find Caylee, when all they DID was try to find her with the information that they were given... whose fault was it that all of that information was completely fabricated by not only their daughter, but then by them, when Casey had stopped talking? It just irks me to no end.

LE did look at all of Casey's friends, who all cooperated with LE. They went out and passed out flyers while they held out their donation jar.

There are times when Cindy or George say something that has my blood boiling and I can't help but invision them being lead off in handcuffs and I get great satisfaction with that image at the time... I sometimes even feel like an extremely terrible person for thinking that way... but then I think of all the people they have hurt these past few years and I feel justified in simply "imagining" it.

I know that Caylee loved Cindy and George. Caylee loved Casey. I sometimes think about what Caylee would think about everything that has happened... and then I remember she is with God. She sees and feels nothing but his loving embrace... I tell myself that he protects her from all of the bad things that are going on down here and all that she knows is the love she had for all of them when she was here... It may sound silly, but I sometimes even let myself think that Caylee was protected from seeing her mother killing her... that somehow God was with her even at that moment... covering her eyes to the evil that was her mother.

Funny thing is... it doesn't make me feel any better. It makes me even sadder/madder that Cindy and George do and say the things they do... when Caylee loves them so much!

I think, or at least hope that with each lie, the State politly corrects by either showing video evidence of them saying something differant, or, re-reading them an interview or depo.

Let each one come and go with an "excuse me but", followed with what was said previously.

Then, when it is all over, have papers in hand to cuff and em stuff em before they walk out of the court room.
Talk about a perfect ending to the entire thing.

Now, that would be an ending they could only pray for for their much awaited payday of a movie and books !!

Perhaps a little melodramtic, but, ohhhhhh....if it could only be ~!!!

Oh Yeah! My comments do not exclude this picture in my mind!!!:furious:

Well said!

Well they sure have zipped their lips lately and maybe figured out that what they blew out there was just soooooo wrong. I still think someone goes on certain blogs from time to time A-HM and does it to muddy the waters but ya know? The life of..................? Some people never quit. In the final days of this trial I do question how it will all come to be. Let's see how they do on the stand at trial. That will say a lot!

This isn't the first time they have avoided the media for a while... Who could ever forget them taking that break before George burst back onto the scene with his going to the media with his "Under a Microscope" reading?

I fully expect to start seeing a lot more of Cindy and George starting after the New Year... A lot of things are going to be going on for the four and a half months before the trial... which I do believe will happen in May 2011 unless something extremely catastrophic happens... like Florida disconnecting from Georgia and floating off into the Gulf of Mexico... and I don't even know if that would make Judge Perry budge?

I just don't see how Cindy can remain quiet through all that will be happening leading up to trial. We know how Cindy prides herself on being an expert on "junk science" so I think we'll get a nice little burst of media appearances before and after the Frye Hearing.

Time will be ticking... Four and a half months to spin... spin... spin. If they just so happen to keep completely quiet before this trial... I will be convinced that they have been tied up and gagged.

:twocents:The Anthonys are in between, the proverbial rock and hard place. The Court room is not The Today Show, where they can avoid difficult questions and lie with impunity. George's early statements are damning and unequivocal. As was Cindy's "clues" session with the FBI but the woman was too arrogant and desperate to see it. And those three 911 calls are a veritable minefield e.g. "just give me one more day." :sheesh:

  • #578
Should be remembered that the State's case is a powerful one, they are not relying on any one witness. When it comes to pecking order the Anthonys imo will be relegated to ..........damaging but non-essential.
And Cindy's 911 calls are already in the bank........ each one tells quite a story.

Yes, such a great assessment! Think for a moment about the declining spirits of the Anthony's at each hearing. At the beginning they were smiling and defiant, happy to be filmed strolling out of the hearing hand in hand. Now we see heads down, hand over mouth, a picture of agony/distress and no press time.

I don't see them returning to the post hearing strut. I believe reality is setting in and they are drawing closer to accepting the truth.

I wonder if CA even realizes how bad she has hurt her daughters chances all because of what she has put out there all on her own!!!! No wonder KC can't look at her. She know's she said way too much. I'm glad she did or we wouldn't know as much as we do . If she does it again she is totally dimented!!!!!!!!!
