Oh my and here I was so worried about their marital status. Now I can go on with my
Life as I was telling my husband today, my daughter last night and my son yesterday.

Now I would like to request another statement from the Anthonys on what made them
Think that anyone cares.

And here I gave them until after the New Year before they made their way back to the media... once again I gave them too much credit... oh well... Let the games begin!

The only thing I appreciated about Cindy and George's statement was the careful wording.

"Without detracting from the case involving their daughter please be advised that they are not having any type of marital issues," the couple said through their attorney. "Any rumors or speculation about a separation or divorce are exactly that, just rumors or speculation."

At least it doesn't say they are happily married. :D

I felt they couldn't stay out of the limelight for long...:banghead:

I'm not sure anyone asked about their marital status, why the need to make that statement???

Is CA feeling like she needs some attention??? Go away, quietly would be best...JMHO

Justice for Caylee

It is nice to know that I am not the only one that thinks this way.

You are in good company.

no more cookies for you!!!!!

I give them a few days and if nothing else is said, I predict a *leaked* story.

:floorlaugh:

As long as unnecessary proclamations are the order of the day, Ynot would like everyone to know that there is absolutely NOT a huge pile of dirty laundry piled up in her laundry room. Any rumors or speculation about her huge pile of dirty laundry are just that, rumors or speculation.

(Closes door to laundry room.)

Oh my, that was funny!!! :floorlaugh:

You guys are cracking me up tonight :floorlaugh:

I think part of the reason CA has been in hibernation lately is that her employee disability must be expiring soon- she wouldn't want to be seen out and about in her very public, confrontational way if she is going to try to get SS Disability on emotional grounds..

Yeppers, Jan 11 her disability is due to expire, or at least that is what she told Linda in answering the question during her state deposition.

Gee, I thought the announcement might be so she wouldn't have to lie on a job application ... is she or isn't she. Does she claim one or two dependents, who is her emergency contact ????

And why is she "please be advised"; anyone who cared would know this and she could count them on one hand and probably still have fingers left over. Let's see GA is one, LA is two. That leaves a three finger salute to everyone else.

Somehow I've always seen Cindy more as the "one finger salute" type of gal...

I find myself putting a lot of emphasis on Cindy's statements and actions... and not so much on George. I feel bad for leaving George out... so this posts for you George! Enjoy!

George has always put too much emphasis on June 16th, 2008 being just a “normal” day in the Anthony home. I don’t believe this for one moment. If it were a normal day… why would George pay such close attention to the clothes Casey and Caylee had on that day? If it were a normal day… what happened that day would have been repetitive… something that happened everyday… so why did it change so much?

First we have George innocently sitting on his couch the afternoon of June 16th, 2008. He was watching one of his favorite shows on television (which we all know was not airing at the time) when Casey and Caylee came out of her room and Casey said she was off to work. George made no mention of leaving the couch until…

George says that he got up and walked Casey and Caylee out to the car. Putting Caylee in her carseat… then SUDDENLY… OUT OF NO WHERE…

George made breakfast for Caylee that morning. Just like he always did… I remember watching him on the television (some interview they did) making this statement and how utterly SHOCKED I was that this came out of his mouth? “Huh? Where did THAT come from? Since WHEN did you make breakfast for Caylee that morning?”

It’s almost like he watched an old episode of “Leave it to Beaver” and tried to pass it off as “normal” Anthony behavior. Badly!

I do think that George seen Casey and Caylee leave that day… but I don’t think it was “Alright dad, I‘m off to work. I‘ll see you later“… something more like “You’ll never see Caylee again” as she dragged a crying Caylee out of the Anthony home. Followed by a fight the night before and watching Caylee being taken out of that house with an angry Casey would most definitely be a memorable moment for George… a moment where I would believe he would remember exactly what they had wore that day. It had to have played over and over in his head as day by day went by without seeing or hearing from Caylee. I think the clothes Caylee was wearing when she was taken out of that house are the clothes that they “haven’t even found yet.” I believe Casey put Caylee in that “Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages” shirt after death. I also think that Caylee was killed in the Anthony home after George left for work that day.

I remember when I thought George was being so honest and forthcoming with LE when he told them about the gas can incident? The more and more I think about it… George didn’t WANT to tell LE about the gas can incident… he HAD to.

I think George was petrified that the gas cans, that he had reported stolen, were back in his home. I think that it crossed George’s mind (as it did mine) that Casey had used her own fathers gas cans to destroy evidence… possibly even his own granddaughters body. It was an “Oh crap” moment for George. He may be willing to sell his soul to the devil (his words) for his daughter, but he sure wasn’t going to implicate himself in the actual murder.

So, I was doing a little digging just now because I had a point I wanted to make about why George simply didn't just get rid of the gas cans and I found somethings that I have overlooked all these years - and boy it's a doozy... at least for me!

George tells Law Enforcement about the gas can incident on August 4th, 2008. I went back and listened to it again and it sure sounds like George is telling them about the incident for the first time. I would really appreciate if you all would go and take a listen to this part of George's interview with police. It's on Part 2 - starting at 2:14. Law Enforcement doesn't lead George into talking about the gas can incident... he does this on his own. He even at one point uses the words "The reason I bring this up..."

So what's the big deal? The big deal, to me, is that Law Enforcement confiscated the gas cans on August 2nd, 2008. Two days prior to George's interview with Law Enforcement. According to the article I found dated August 2nd, 2008 (I don't know how to post links) and titled " Gas Cans Removed From Home of Orlando Missing Girl Mystery" George makes this statement to the media about the gas cans... Someone broke the lock- gas cans were taken - gas cans with gasoline - probably $50 worth. I found out who took them and they were retrieved and that was the extent of it.

Sounds like LE confronted George with the stolen gas can report at his home on August 2nd, 2008. Completely catching him off guard. Naturally it had to pique LE's interest as to why they only stole gas cans when there were other items worth a lot more money left untouched. Again catching George off guard, LE wanted to see the shed that was broken into and George knew that the "unique" gas can that he had reported stolen was ironically sitting right there in the shed that LE was about to take a look at! Can you say BUSTED!

Please tell me if you think that I am reading too much into this... would we have never heard about the stolen gas cans if George didn't make that pesky police report about his "unique" gas can that he considered to have "sentimental" value?

EDIT: I can only think of what was going through George's mind when and if he was confronted with the gas cans... he had to think about those cans being in the trunk of Casey's trunk... the trunk that smelled like "a damn dead body." The trunk that he prayed wasn't his Caylee. Yeah, I'm more convinced that George was caught completely caught off guard with the gas can report... and when he knew that LE would see those gas cans in his shed... they could possibly be covered in evidence and he sang like a canary about Casey being the one who took them!

LolaMoon,
Thank you!!
I have always been convinced the gas cans played a much bigger role in this than what we were told by the A's. Thanks for the timeline, too. I remember WFTV exposed the police report July 29
http://www.wftv.com/news/17025607/detail.html
about the gas cans, then the stories began.

Also, I think on the breakfast for Caylee issue was George and Cindy reading this forum where several posters questioned that morning. There was no mention of Caylee having breakfast and it bothered several. Suddenly, GA made breakfast.

Great post!!

Listening to the FBI interview. George is actually trying to cut a deal for Casey.

You are so right LlL . . . George was asking for the offer of a deal and trying to figure out how they could accomplish that in spite of Jose advising Casey not to tell anyone anything. That was very obvious in this clip. But something a little more subtile came to my attention here; the fact that George is eagerly advocating for Casey to tell everything she knows. . . If George were (at this early point) involved in any part of the crime or coverup he wouldn't be campaigning for Casey to tell the whole truth.

After revisiting this interview I think George's hands were clean at this point in time. If he had any unsavory involvement at all he wouldn't want Casey to be "telling all." Now after this date his involvement may have changed greatly. But here, on Aug 7, 2008, I believe he must have felt he was totally clear of any wrongdoings. This seems like a pretty significant revelation for me. . . but I am always on the slow track compared to the rest of you sleuths!!!!

Musings for today: just went out on my back deck where an animal has obviously died underneath it. The smell of decomposition is so overwhelming it made me gag. There is no mistaking it for ANY OTHER SMELL. Period. the end. I do not know how George drove that car home.

And it really makes you wonder why CA ALLOWED the car in the garage with that smell. It had to have gotten into the home. If that were me the car would be sitting in the driveway with the trunk open being hosed down. lol

Yes, why WOULD she allow that smell in her home? That is a good question. Tho she may have lied on TV, there is no spinning or lying or denying that smell when you are right amidst it. Why would she allow it? Also, have we determined if the car smelled the day GA caught KC in the garage with her car backed up into it?

I the neighbor said the car was backed into the garage on the 17th and 18th and GA caught up with KC on the 24th with the gas can issue and the car was outside parked in the driveway.

To me, CA didn't want the neighbors getting a whiff of the decomp odor. Bad enough for her that the tow yard guy already was exposed to it and she no doubt was worried whether HE would call LE about it. She didn't need the neighbors gossiping about it either.

CA calculated she had to get to ICA first before LE did and she was able to do just that.

Wouldn't you agree though that to 'HIDE' the car in the garage is admission that you knew something was very wrong?
