I believe CA's statement that their marriage is fine, belongs right here in the lies/mistruths/misstatements thread...what a bunch of sorry people...:banghead:

Justice for Caylee

When ICA was around 7 months pregnant, CA took her to the Dr.
After examining her the Dr said 'She's pregnant". CA took offence, and said
"In order to be pregnant she would have had to have sex, so that's not possible!"
With that the Dr got up and walked to the window, where he stayed, staring at the sky.
"What are you doing Dr, said CA, come back here and pay attention to my virgin daughter".
"Oh, said the Dr, I am looking at the sky, because the last time this happened a star appeared in the East, and three Wise Kings came by".

RS&BBM--Leila, great post. You are soooo right on IMO. And in re: the bit I bolded above, let me add this observation--which is MOO! and JMO! and possibly a bit sexist! but which I just can't shake:

GA is a man. The only men I have ever encountered who would have such perfect recall of what a person was wearing OVER A MONTH AGO are my beloved gay friends, and even then only if it was something spectacular. I seriously doubt that DH would remember was I was wearing when we went out together last night, let alone what I was wearing when I walked out the door for work a whole month ago. To think that GA suddenly developed a Bravo-channel-esque recall of these types of things is IMO completely unrealistic. (I wonder if anyone ever asked GA what CA was wearing that day?)

And FWIW, I will be releasing a statement later this evening through a spokesperson to the effect that there has been absolutely NO CHANGE whatsoever to the status of my totally non-existent huge pile of laundry. You read it here first.

But George isn't really a man. :innocent:

I would think LE knows exactly who put the tape on the can because there would be fingerprints on the tape.

George was very neat and orderly, he wouldn't have put that tape on the can like that. Period. But ICA stole the cans to put gas in her car. Now SHE would have slapped that tape back on the can and threw them in her trunk... then George busts ICA with the gas cans and he can honestly say that HE didn't put the tape on that can!

So the announcement from the A's attorney was that they are not separated and not getting divorced. And what does CA do but show up in court WITHOUT her rings. Now if you want to make a public statement, that will do it!!!! jmo

Isn't that something celebrities do to gain attention right before they file for divorce? Oh Cindy! Too bad you're not a celebrity!

I did a screenshot and enlarged it a little. It's not perfectly clear but I don't see a ring?!

ETA: Sorry, I meant to quote Gnatcatcher's post.

One of my very first memories of this case is hearing Cindy Anthony state that Casey had taken Caylee so they could "bond."

(media interview)
George Anthony

We are getting word of a pretty shocking case out of Orlando Florida. A two year old girl who has been missing for more than a month, Caylee Anthony is her name. Caylee's grandparents say they last saw her when she and her mom were moving out of their home. They had not seen the little girl since, cops say that, ah the mother has provided false statements about the whereabouts of Caylee. And that is why she is under attest for those alleged false statements. Let's talk now with Caylee's grandfather George Anthony who is so instrumental in getting this case to police.

Q: Mr. Anthony, thank you for being here, I ah can't even imagine what your going through at this point. Uhm, how did you discover that there was a problem and, and what was your daughter telling you about where your granddaughter was when you would call and ask after they moved out of your house.
GA: Um well, ta, ta open this up, I just want to let you know our main concern is our granddaughter Caylee, to get her back.
Q: Uh hum.
GA: ...The thing is with my daughter is a separate issue I just wanna make that clear from the beginning. I, I last saw my granddaughter on June 9th. My wife last saw her on June 8th, which my daughter and granddaughter were both together um, we're at wits end to try to figure out where my granddaughter's at, who might have her...
(my note: I wonder if the "normal day of kisses and hugs" that George states was the morning of the 16th, was really the 9th?)
Q: Your, your daughter had said, Mr Anthony your daughter had said that she dropped Caylee off with the babysitter and police say they can't seem to find this woman and they're not even sure that she exists. Do you know this babysitter?
GA: Um, my wife and I had never met this ah lady. We were told of a name um, I think her na, the name that was given us was called Zanny...
Q: Uh hum.
GA: ...we never saw this person, we never met her, we never had any contact with this person at all, never, just believe what my daughter said about this person.
Q: What, what theory are you working off of at this point Mr. Anthony as to where Caylee is and wha, what can your daughter tell you, what has she told you about where she is do you think?
GA: Well, we're hoping that she's ah, that she's with a, you know ah, ah friend, someone that my daughter knows and...she's okay. We're just hoping everything is, is good as far as my granddaughter's concerned and with your guy's help and the other media that we've talked to and reporters and things like that we're just hopin' that they can facilitate gettin' our granddaughter back here I mean, hopin' that someone that sees it or is gonna realize that our granddaughter has this home that she's lived in fer three years of her life and ah you know, there's, this is where she belongs, she knows, she knows me as JoJo, my wife is CeCe and this is the home that has the love and every, and every convenience and comfortability that my granddaughter is used to and not having her in our lives for this last thirty some odd days is just, to say gut wrenching to tell ya it tears ya apart, it , that's that's I can't even describe it the way I want...
Q: Yeah
GA: ...to say it really hurts.
Q: I'm sure, ah we're putting the number on the screen for people if they, if they know anything and have seen this gorgeous little girl anywhere. One last question I want to ask you about Mr. Anthony is acquaintances have told police that your daughter, Caylee's mother had a, had a, is a, is, habitual liar. Those are their words and police, in their arrest reports say that your daughter didn't show any obvious emotion that her child was gone, they say she remained stoic and monotone during the majority of our contacts, that's from the arrest report. Any explanation for that?
GA: Well, I can tell you, my daughter is a fantastic mother we never had any reason to believe that our daughter would not be the great mother that we always seen, we we always knew, then, that our granddaughter was in very capable hands. She was nurturing she always did the right thing with her. So that was, that was never, ever a question in our minds.
(my note: Shirley P. stated that Cindy had spoke with a professional regarding her taking custody of Caylee from Casey)
Q: So you know, never had a concern...
GA: (crosstalk)
Q: ...that she would hurt Caylee?
GA: No, there, there...
(crosstalk)
GA: ...was never a concern, I never even heard, I never even saw my daughter so much raise her voice to much to her because she was just a great child to have around she listened well, ah she did everything...I guess probably above her years because even though she's just gonna be three here in just a little, a few weeks, um, I just...I can't say too much more about my granddaughter as far as my daughter uhm, that's a separate issue that I, ah I really wish some, some of you guys would just understand that, I, I, our focus is our granddaughter, my daughter is, at an area that she's gonna be getting some assistance and uh, she's gonna have to deal with what has happened, to this point I don't know all the circumstances we're sort of out of the loop a little bit about some of the investigation, we, we know some things that I wish I could elaborate on but I just, can't because I've made that com, we've made the commitment with the ah local Orange Country Sheriff's Department, which is doin' the job that they're doin' is just unbelievable, I, I'd never seen so many people throw themselves into an investigation like they're doing, it's just...
Q: I bet.
GA: ...unbelievable they're...
Q: Mr. Anthony we're gonna have to leave it there ah, we do have to hit one of those computerized breaks but again if you seen anything, know anything about this girl do call police. Thank you Mr. Anthony.

My Caylee is missing.
Current mood is distraught.

She came into my life unexpectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don't know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy form the one person that should be thankful for all the love and support given to her. A mother's love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be okay. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her fiends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is watching out for the little angel?

Being interesting per statement analysis, George slips into past tense when speaking of Caylee on several occasions during this interview. "She was a great child to have around."

He does this because of his intense investigative background as a police officer. Once they learn it, it never goes away. He knows Caylee is gone by the evidence he has seen and what he smelled in that trunk. He knows his daughter very well. He says he does not WANT to think she is capable of doing the unthinkable but in his heart he knows how cold she can be. Beauty is only skin deep and he knows beneath that skin lies a heart of stone. jmo

Great post Chiquita! I noticed that GA managed to twice state, in the exact same words, that "my daughter is a separate issue"...

"We're looking for Caylee, don't look at my daughter" is a weird message IMO.

And when the only person who can provide you with information of the whereabouts of your granddaughter is your daughter she is not, repeat not a separate issue. She is the issue. jmo
