MISTRIAL - Sidney Moorer on trial for the kidnapping of Heather Elvis - June 20 & 21,2016 - #1

Photos taken by investigators are being shown to the jurors on a screen. The car is photographed at a home the witness said was Terry Elvis' residence.

The car in the photos is a Dodge Intrepid. Domogauer noted there was no damage to the vehicle.

Jurors are seeing photos of all angles of the car.

Do you believe that HE was leaving notes for SM on his vehicle?

Do you think that if HE was indeed/still pregnant she'd have gone on a first date and planned a second one?

This is not directed to me, but I believe HE may have put notes on SM's car and maybe she was pregnant. With all the stress she was going through she may have miscarried. That may have been why she felt it ok to date again - and this time choose a nice boy. I believe that since she had moved in with Bri, she was trying to get her life together. JMO

A photo shown of the inside of the car shows a lot of crumpled papers, letters and trash in the passenger side of the car.

Photos of the backseats show a lot of clothes in them. A photo of the trunk of the car has a lot more items, including what looks to be a small suitcase.

A photo of Heather Elvis' license, Social Security card and cosmetology license was the last picture the jurors saw.

Domogauer testified that neither a set of car keys or a cellphone was found inside the car, or at Peachtree Boat Landing.

The witness said there was also no evidence in the car, such as blood, illegal drugs or a weapon, that would indicate forced entry.

Domogauer said there was no cellphone, set of car keys or illegal drugs inside Elvis' apartment.

The jury is now seeing photos investigators took of Elvis' apartment.

The first few photos are of the apartment's front door, which Domogauer said showed no signs of forced entry. It was unlocked, according to the witness.

As the jury continues to see photos from inside Elvis' apartment, the investigator testified that there were no signs of a struggle.
