Misty had a bad weekend leading up to this event. She is parting with another guy. rc and she were fighting even as late as 8:30 that evening. Haleigh disappears, Ron is marching around with Misty hugging her, smoking cigs and denying she was involved at all.

Now, I don't know about all of you but if I had just met a person about 5 months before my daughter went missing, and went missing on their watch, you can da#n well take it to the bank that I'd be suspicious. This guy, Cummings, instead of wondering if she is involved, MARRIES HER!!!

How about Misty?

All I can recall off-hand is her CBS Morning Show appearance [where she went to NYC to reveal.... absolutely nothing.] and the WESH interview in the airport.

When is the last time she was on NG [live or newish vid, anyway]?

Just curious, not trying to insinuate anything. tia.

p.s. There's also that g'bye kiss to Ronald, staged for the camera, imo. Do we have any confirmation when that vid was actually filmed? [vs. when AH or whoever released it. btw - where did that vid originate?]


eta - oh carp! I forgot to mention this. Heard it a long while back that there ARE webcams set up near Annette's. Dunno if LE or media or who.

The 911 call sent up flags for me from the start. Misty's statement "our daughter" when she knew full well that wasn't her daughter. When asked for her full name, it was answered with a "huh" IIRC. Evasive. I don't even think she KNEW her full address as I doubt she ever received any mail there. Most responsible people that have a life know their mailing address before the sheets go on the bed that first day, but I doubt she really knew what the "numeric" was of that house even if she did understand the word. For most of us, if you had awoken in the middle of the night and your "daughter" were missing, we'd be so hysterical, we could barely get the words out but she had to explain first how she had just woke up first. Ron amazes me for a person that has a hair trigger temper was so patient with Misty and her story for so long only to end up at this point. She walks away as though nothing ever happened in his world? I just don't get it.

LOL curvecuti, this must be the first case you have followed. While I agree at times it does seem creepy and stalkerish, (and sometimes may be) there is almost always someone that lives in the area (of every case) that thankfully is able to bring us pics, info and such to try and help further our search. Of course being on the internet, we hardly ever know if people are who they say they are, so that does have to be taken into consideration.

Misty, Misty, Misty...Where is HaLeigh?! I know that you read here and I wonder...Just how long can you keep this up? It's way past time to bring this baby girl home. It is my hope that you and Ron never have another minutes peace until the truth is told. I know to some that will sound terrible, but I don't care, I mean it from the bottom of my heart...

I pray that we will have answers before Christmas rolls around again and I believe that you can make that happen Misty.. ..IF you have any kind of soul at all....

With no movement in the case I find it helpful, when time permits, to go back and re-listen/re-read the initial news video interviews or written news articles that occurred in the first few days of HaLeigh's disappearance just in case something was overlooked or something may have more meaning now, after 10 months, then it did at that time. I'd be curious to know if PCSO continues to go by Misty's first account/interview as they stated here (BBM);

The father's 17-year-old girlfriend, Misty Croslin, told sheriff's investigators that she was sharing a bed with Haleigh when the little girl disappeared.

Marie Griffis, Haleigh's maternal grandmother, said Croslin has given conflicting accounts of that night to media outlets.

"Why so many stories?" Griffis said.

Sheriff's officials said they are going with their original interview with Croslin and would not comment further on the reported discrepancies.

I'd really love to know because if that's the case, and they continue to go by Misty's original account of HaLeigh actually sleeping in the same bed as her that night/early morning - it certainly does make it extremely unlikely (even more so) that anyone went into that MH and just took her from the bed. I'd love to know what LE/PCSO thought of the whole orchestrated walk-thru for the NG show with TN showing the crib mattress on the floor in the master bedroom and stating that that's where HaLeigh was sleeping that night, hmmm...

Somewhat out of the way.. But could be that was the plan.. Taking I-10 to I-65 and straight up I- 65 to Nashville..

The Knoxville sighting could have been a red herring too..

The easiest route I would think from Satsuma to Nashville would be I-75 to I-24 and travel NW to Nashville...JMO

IMO, way too soon for Ron to summize that HaLeigh wasn't coming home to reside there again!

I see the container, and sheet or blanket, but the article doesn't mention that it had to do with the bones found. Could that be some of the LE tools or items?

If family took Haleigh, there is a good chance she is wrapped or in something; she could also be buried.

If misty did this on her own or with friends, she may be wrapped but not buried; most likely in water.

What bothers me are the tracking dogs. They led to the water and it looks like the docks. I was unaware but found out that the docks are on Buchanan. This gives a new insight into a theory. The perp may have been looking to dispose during this trail. What we don't know is if the scent was dissipating due to the body being gone or because of the car traveling and maybe windows rolled up.

cyberborg, I'm not holding my breath that LE will take that step. But, it sure would warm the cockles of my heart to sign on here and find a new thread announcing a current sit down between Misty and LE. My fingers are crossed.
