Just wondering how MC will celebrate her 18th birthday!
Starting tonight? With friends and relatives?
sex, drugs?
with RC the X and loving X MIL?
or in jail?

I recall that - it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck when he (Ron) said that;

"Her bedroom........where she used to reside."

IMO, way too soon for Ron to summize that HaLeigh wasn't coming home to reside there again!

JMHO -

grrr..I can't download videos at work!

I have a feeling that statement wasn't intended to say that she wasn't coming back. I think it was RC just trying to look smart and use big words.

Flo, I was thinking the same thing as you. FL doesn't give a hoot if you're 14 or 18, they'll give you a life sentence. [See current U.S. Supreme Court cases.]

Maybe they wouldn't charge her with perjury or obstruction before reaching the age of majority? [That would be kinda ridiculous, but possible, I guess. Not a lawyer.]

you are right LF, Florida really doesn't give a hoot how old you are...

If you do an adult crime, you do the adult crime. Plenty of case to reference...lol

I don't think perjury would apply imo, and I agree the age isn't relevant, and the relevant age would be the age at the time of a crime, if one was committed.

Misty did leave RC after Haleigh went missing, on 2/20/09 the family gave a press conference and stated that Misty was with her family.

2/20 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P1-Mqpr6jU

Reporter asks where Misty is and Teresa states that she is with her family.
10 days after Haleigh went missing, I think that RC and others were afraid that Misty would leave Satsuma. Misty was not there she was at home, states Teresa.

Also, listen to the answer Teresa gives when the reporter asks about JR and what he saw.

Can anyone tell me the exact day that Crystal spoke with Craig Rivera about Junior's statement about the man in black?

In my opinion Junior did see something, Teresa doesn't wish to talk about it in the above interview. But, I found an interview with JVM and Crystal, but I am looking for the day it took place. TIA : )

I think it was March 2nd elle:
On March 2, 2009, Crystal Sheffield and Ronald Cummings, Jr. were interviewed by Craig Rivera. In a display of shabby journalism, Craig Rivera talks openly about Jr.’s role in allegedly observing certain facts.

Crystal Sheffield, in turn, with Ronald Jr. in her arms, asks a series of leading questions to Ronald that has the answer phrased as part of the question.

Ronald Cummings, Jr.’s response seems to be mystification and/or passive agreement to whatever his mother is saying.

The phrases attributed to Ronald Jr. such as “squeaking shoes,” “couch bouncing,” and “dressed in black” are not appropriate language that a 4 year old would use. Rather, this is adult talk, suggesting coaching.

Any new statements attributed to Ronald Cummings, Jr. have been tainted by the Geraldo at Large show, as any experienced child investigator knows.

The Craig Rivera interview can be viewed at foxnews.com, Geraldo at Large.

Thank you Flossie. So we have a press conference with RC's family not commenting on Junior or what he saw on 2/20, and Crystal's first visitation with junior after Haleigh went missing was? So sorry, I know I am asking a lot of questions, today. : )

What does matter ,and there is a difference, is the interrogation. There are rules for children and questioning them. Misty could whine and say she doesn't like that rude man and get away with it but as an adult she would have to explain herself.

....Frankly, I am shocked if it is true that Merchant came to her aid and protected her but I guess you gotta protected the children from the "bad" LE that question to hard...lol

....AS an adult, she would have remained with the one who was asking the questions. There is a big difference in questioning a child and questioning and adult. I am talking before any charges or brought in. Once charges are made, it is a new game.

The fact that misty and ron spoke about John Merchant on national tv as their protector annoyed the heck out of me. He also was the only one they would speak to about ratgate. Since when does the public get their choice of officers? Is this something exclusive to Putnam County?

I know merchant is the lead homicide detective but ratgate did not involve that. GMA Sykes protected rc and misty once again by telling the responding officers they were out of town (how convenient?), hours later, most likely after consulting an attorney, rc called Merchant to talk??

Who said that someone came to her aid and protected her? Protected her from what?

anything is possible when MC is partying

It might be helpful if we knew the truth about the party allegations imo. Many people, including teens, "party" ime

Not Passionflower--but the best information we have of how Misty behaves while partying comes from interviews done with those who shared a weekend with her....also her myspace pix were she described her "condition" were pretty self-explanatory---IMVHO.....
