Misty Failed Polygraph Test

and hearing that when Misty was told she failed, she told Mr. Miller that she might have seen 3-4 people, but could have been dreaming.

I did not catch this before! So, now when she fails the test, maybe she did see people there? Why would she never have shared this tidbit of info with LE??? "I might have been dreaming, but I might have seen some people in my house that night" - is that really not important? Come on.

Strange, isn't it, YS. And now here we are, finding out about the red rose as well.

I pray this all leads to finding little Haliegh.

LOL cleared by incompetent Mary Lacy. Both parents are still and always will be under that umbrella of suspecion.

In my opinion, Mary Lacy was a complete joke as DA, an incompetent nincompoop. That opinion stems from her various follies over the years. DA's can imply that people may or may not be persons of interest. DA's can express their opinion that there are no facts tying a person to one crime or another. DA's can bring charges or not. However, it is not within the power a DA to EXONERATE or CLEAR suspects. That what trials, judges and juries are for.

Do you all know that the Orlando stations have the videos of Misty's poly and hypno session up? It is fascinating stuff!

So I'm watching the video of the voice analysis on WFTV. First off, her smirkiness is going to drive me crazy. She's asked to describe whats around the room, which she does but when she points to some of Haleighs belongings, her voice definitely changes, gets quieter. Also, when asked when Haleigh went missing, her body language and facial expression totally changes

Ok, going back for more . . .

Alrighty, finished watching it. I do have to admit, there is something about her. She seems so innocent and scared at time. But, I did notice when asked about the time she woke up and about the blanket washing, she got very defensive. Her body language and voice changed. When she was talking about the blanket, going in to detail about having to wash it because of the pee smell, I couldn't help but think if there were something else she was actually washing off - like blood. Also, when talking about Joe, she said "He molested me, too". Does that mean also? If so, who else did he molest? Haleigh?

I doubt Misty is the only person that knows something. I just wish they'd poly the biomom-the psycho cousin-and the bffs. This baby didn't just wander out of the back door and get abducted by aliens. I know in my heart that the end result here will be the same, but there is something about knowing what happened that seems to bring a minimal comfort. Every family deserves to know.

Haleigh was scared of the dark so we know she didn't wander outside and just disappear.

Every victim deserves justice and every killer deserves to be locked away from society and all of its comforts. I also doubt that Haleigh is still alive but regardless...she deserves to have a proper buriel and justice through the system.

I want Ron to get steaming mad. I want him to demand that Misty tell him what happened that night. If he keeps believing her then I'm going to get to the point of believing that he is just as stupid as she is. Haleigh is missing...she should come before Misty and if Ron has even half a brain he has to have some doubts.

If something awful happened to Haleigh in the mobile I would bet that Misty's brother came running to help her out. He seems to be the one she runs to or calls when she thinks she needs help. Maybe they should poly the brother. I still tend to believe that she had company that night....maybe more then one and someone hurt Haleigh. I don't think that Misty killed Haleigh but I think she knows who did or has a good idea.

When they did the poly I wish they would have asked Misty if she had friends over that night.

I agree, but remember, both MC and RC say they've never seen the brick before.

Do you believe a word they say? I don't. The only person telling the truth here is Haleigh. She's the only victim and the only one that doesn't have a motive.

I just watched the video too..and her smirkiness is driving me absolutely crazy. I totally agree. She seems to be taking this really lightly.

I also think it's strange how she mentioned her suspicions about her brother and said "I have no idea if he killed Haleigh" without even being asked.

I bet you LE knows that that brick was there from when he (the previous resident) lived there. Unless I missed him stating it wasn't.

Seriously. This crime is not about some conspiracy of mom, gma on either side, drug revenge, pedophile, ex-gf's etc. It's about a 17 year old coming off a bender and dealing with a kid that wet the bed. Two thirds of the cases at WS, of child abuse and child abuse leading to death, has to do with kids soiling their pants. I find it very believable that Misty is involved and possibly Ron. Stats back me up on this.

The most dangerous person to any child is their caretakers. Mothers, fathers, their significant others or others designated as caretakers. Sad but the absolute truth.

http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/homicide/children.htm

A parent is the perpetrator in most homicides of children under age 5

Of all children under age 5 murdered from 1976-2005 --
  • 31% were killed by fathers
  • 29% were killed by mothers
  • 23% were killed by male acquaintances
  • 7% were killed by other relatives
  • 3% were killed by strangers
Of those children killed by someone other than their parent, 81% were killed by males.

I think Misty knows exactly where Haleigh is, and that is why she called Equasearch to begin with. The guilt of knowing is eating away at her, and she can't stand knowing where Haleigh is...this way Equasearch can find Haleigh and Misty can get the guilt off her mind.

Most drug abusers are very good at lying, stealing whatever they need to do to get their needs met, imo. I am sure Misty is a seasoned warrior when it comes to lying.

Regarding child murders BBM:

http://www.childwelfare.gov/pubs/factsheets/fatality.cfm

Who Are the Perpetrators?
No matter how the fatal abuse occurs, one fact of great concern is that the perpetrators are, by definition, individuals responsible for the care and supervision of their victims. In 2007, one or both parents were responsible for 69.9 percent of child abuse or neglect fatalities. More than one-quarter (27.1 percent) of these fatalities were perpetrated by the mother acting alone. Child fatalities with unknown perpetrators accounted for 16.4 percent of the total.
There is no single profile of a perpetrator of fatal child abuse, although certain characteristics reappear in many studies. Frequently, the perpetrator is a young adult in his or her mid-20s, without a high school diploma, living at or below the poverty level, depressed, and who may have difficulty coping with stressful situations. In many instances, the perpetrator has experienced violence firsthand. Most fatalities from physical abuse are caused by fathers and other male caregivers. Mothers are most often held responsible for deaths resulting from child neglect (U.S. Advisory Board on Child Abuse and Neglect, 1995).

She didn't call them, did she? I thought the attorney called.

Misty Croslin-Cummings allegedly made about investigators needing to double-check a patch of ground marked by a single plastic rose in their search for her missing stepdaughter, Haleigh Cummings, has motivated a private firm to begin scouring the area this morning.
She said there was a place that was not searched very well and that we should look for a red rose, and she gave us the location," said Steph Watts, who recorded the sessions for EquuSearch, a private Texas firm that founder and director Tim Miller said was contacted by Croslin-Cummings to help clear her name.

My thoughts exactly. I'd sure hate to be Misty when Ron is through scratching his head and looking at her without loving blinders.
i think ron married her for a reason .. either he knew or he is trying to find out and by marrying her mabey one day she would tell him .or talk in her sleep ect
