New angle shows moment federal agents shoot Alex Pretti in Minneapolis – video
US Department of Homeland Security said that Alex Pretti was pronounced dead at the scenewww.theguardian.com
Blanche is a foot soldier for Trump. Trump just called Pretti "an agitator" "an insurrectionist". They (DOJ) will not go against Trump's desire and view, I assure you. Pretti's family will not get justice from the federal govt. Donald Trump labels Alex Pretti ‘agitator,’ ‘insurrectionist’ on social mediaDAG Todd Blanche suggested Alex Pretti shooting is under investigation by DOJ's Civil Rights Division, which indicates it is not being treated as an assault on federal officer but as a potential civil rights violation by the officers who shot Pretti.
Thank you for this video. There’s a lot of good information.I watched this yesterday and have been thinking about it. This is something that I believe your friend was saying about their position on the shooting. I think it's helpful to hear all sides on this because we are seeing it from the perspective after the fact, as we do most of the cases we discuss.
I know that there are many on this thread that won't agree with this man, Minnesota State Senator Walter Hudson, but I do think that we can agree that we are very disturbed by Alex's death.
Yes, a judge DID dismiss charges. Now this. No laws apply to the citizens or any human beings here in USA if t decides and his ilk around him. We see this and the world is seeing and reacting and being called 'dumb as rocks'.. and so on as we see the written and published quoted comments by 'your' president. IMOThis may not seem associated to Pretti's murder, but it is. There is no "rule of law" (DOJ) in the US. It's gone. They are detaining and arresting journalists for being journalists. They're arresting protesters for protesting. The DOJ arrested Don Lemon without just cause (a judge already dismissed charges before).
It is surreal, all of it.Yes, a judge DID dismiss charges. Now this. No laws apply to the citizens or any human beings here in USA if t decides and his ilk around him. You mean Alex Pretti? Then what were all the agents on top of him doing? In the video from the last link, he doesn’t appear to be restrained. imo
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. This may not seem associated to Pretti's murder, but it is. There is no "rule of law" (DOJ) in the US. It's gone. They are detaining and arresting journalists for being journalists. They're arresting protesters for protesting. The DOJ arrested Don Lemon this morning without just cause (a judge already dismissed charges before). And then the WH official x account made a mocking meme about it. INSANE.
They were attempting to arrest him. imoYou mean Alex Pretti? Then what were all the agents on top of him doing?
Then why couldn’t 7 “well trained” officers arrest 1 man? They had already gotten him down on the ground, with his hands flat. Did not one of them have a pair of handcuffs? Zip ties? Anything to actually detain him instead of beating him in the head with a pepper spray canister? The only way they could get this man to comply was with lethal force of their firearms? And yet people still refuse to call out improper law enforcement behaviors in this situation. They were attempting to arrest him. imo
There is no statute of limitation on murder. Just saying.Blanche is a foot soldier for Trump. Trump just called Pretti "an agitator" "an insurrectionist". Thanks, I needed some hope today. There is no statute of limitation on murder. Just saying.
Hope exists and endures.

That is what gets me. It's possible to vilify Alex all you want....and still question the agents. You don't have to pick one "side" or the other. Then why couldn’t 7 “well trained” officers arrest 1 man? They had already gotten him down on the ground, with his hands flat. And somehow that pileup of seven officers did not restrain him, despite the fact he was pepper sprayed in the face and bashed with canister in the head? That's an astonishing level of incompetence on their part. They were attempting to arrest him. imo
EEESH, all those big men having to bash his head, spray pepper spray close in his face, a while, THEN stand up and unload multiple bullets into his back. I see. No handcuffs? Too harsh for them to use as all LE does? IMOThey were attempting to arrest him. imo
That exposes what their intentions really were. It was never to arrest, they were gleeful when they killed him. "Boohoo" another agent CLAPPING.Then why couldn’t 7 “well trained” officers arrest 1 man? They had already gotten him down on the ground, with his hands flat. Did not one of them have a pair of handcuffs? Zip ties? Anything to actually detain him instead of beating him in the head with a pepper spray canister? Having his hands flat on the ground does not mean he was pinned or restrained. Once officers heard the call gun, gun, gun, events unfortunately escalated. imoThen why couldn’t 7 “well trained” officers arrest 1 man? No, watch the video, slow mo or even regular speed. One thin man, a bunch of big and beefed up, with pepper spray who covered his face with it and that bash with the cannister on Mr.Pretti's head. He was very immobile. That's the fact to the investigators as well, hence the stepping back of Noem's immediate comment. IMOHaving his hands flat on the ground does not mean he was pinned or restrained. Once officers heard the call gun, gun, gun, events unfortunately escalated. imo
Hi @paulegigswhat he was doing, was purposefully bringing a gun to a dangerous fed op repeatedly, and provoking and inviting harm onto himself, because he felt a sense of martyrdom. he rehearsed violating laws and putting the public in danger, until he finally got what he wanted.
He looked pretty restrained……Having his hands flat on the ground does not mean he was pinned or restrained. Once officers heard the call gun, gun, gun, events unfortunately escalated. imo
