2 Teenagers Reported Missing In Shakopee

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is asking for the public’s help to find two Muslim teenagers missing since Saturday morning.

Officials say 19-year-old Bushra Abdi and 19-year-old Zenyab Abdalla, both of Shakopee, left their jobs during a break on Saturday and later called 911 for help. They haven’t been seen since.

Beautiful girls!

Not giving a lot of information, are they? Does the car belong to one of the girls, or were they riding with someone? An abductor or two?

I hope they are found safe.

3 am?

one of the girls dialled 911 and said "help me" than the phoneline cut, their car windows was malfunctioned so the girls most likely couldn't roll up their window, and another further information I need to add is that in the same town last week racist remarks were shouted towards the somali community which further suspects a foul play.

Public's help sought in locating missing 19-year-olds from Shakopee
Habsa Abdi said Abdalla, whose nickname is Hapsa, drove from her workplace at Amazon to a Chaska nursing home where Bushra worked. After driving about 15 minutes to Chaska, Abdalla called Bushra at 2:47 a.m. to say she was outside the Chaska Heights Senior Living facility. Some time after that, Bushra's phone turned off.

Habsa Abdi believes the two went to a convenience store to get snacks and that something happened to them there. She noted that one of the Impala's windows doesn't go up, so the women would have been unable to lock the car.

Police have said that the 911 call, which came from Carver County, recorded someone saying, "Help me," Habsa Abdi said.
Habsa Abdi said both women were working the night shift, which pays better than other times of day, to make money to buy their own cars.

She said the families are "very, very worried" and "still trying to understand what's going on."

How could the car have been seen if it is too deep for dive teams to reach it?

We just had a case where a girl drove her car into a pond in the dark. Wonder if the same thing happened with these two but one was able to call 911 before the car went completely under.

Since one window wouldn't go up I be would think it would've been easy for them to get out. But panicking...IDK. I hope alcohol wasn't involved.

Hopefully they made it out okay and are scared and hiding? Maybe because it's their families car they are just scared to face the music. I hope so.

I'm watching on twitter to see if there are any developments once they retrieve the car.

IMO
Why I think this is strange...
I know the area. Assuming Amazon gave her only a half hour break, why go to chaska? It is quite a drive from Amazon Shakopee to the nursing home Chaska. Assuming she picked up her friend, what were they planning on doing at 3 am.
From the nursing home which is off of 41 (same as pond), the pond is south of nursing home. According to google maps, 5 minutes/2.4 miles. They would have passed at least one 24 hour gas station (SuperAmerica). The street at the pond (engler dr) is residental and commercial (across from fire station, by Holiday).
It appears the two girls had something planned ... but what?
