Another young man, Scott Kleppen, has gone missing from Pine County and Cody is mentioned by that man's mother in this article published last month. Cody has been missing for one year now.

FWIW: I had sent a fb message to his mom who said she did not recognize the ring found with the UID.

I received another message from Cody's mom via fb. She must have asked a friend of his about the ring because she was told he may have had a ring with a red stone but there were also other smaller stones around it. Footwear seemed off as well. Would expect tennis shoes or hiking boots. I still kind of think until it's a confirmed rule out there's a slight possibility?

Cody is being compared to the UID found near Albert Lea (MN). I will update when I hear anything!
