What a wonderful moment. Chauvin is gonna cry himself to sleep tonight, I hope George haunts him every day for the rest of his life.

We knew it before but he is now officially a MURDERER!!!!

One man had his life taken away and the other threw his away all because racism is so embedded in our nation that to view black people as inherently more dangerous and violent than others, is instinctual.

I’m not sure how that can be resolved. Even with consequences. Even with justice.

Remanded to custody

Thank you, jurors, for not allowing gaslighting to influence your decision. You have served justice well.

Am I the only one who thinks they got it wrong?

Thanks Tippy, I knew you would be on it if I posted it :)

Makes sense and when I read them initially, I thought he would probably make a good foreman.
You know me well :)

Law and Crime reporting Jury Foreman has a friend who is an officer with MPD, and a friend who's a K9 officer there.

I don't think Chauvin or Nelson looked surprised... uggh weeks for sentencing? wth

Neither were surprised at all. I just said DC was never even breathing heavily the entire time.

I think he was. I was watching his chest the entire time and he was never even breathing heavily.

Eric Nelson already prepared him as all defense attorneys do.

Well there's a lawyer doing due diligence and there's a defendant actually believing it could come to pass. I was watching his eyes dart back and forth, almost incredulously, but not his chest so perhaps you're right.

I'm always reminded of the senseless waste in murder cases. Mr. Floyd should be here living his life. Mr. Chauvin had an opportunity to affect real positive change in his community and make it safer for all. Both men had the potential to do great things and both lives are lost, innocent family members are forever affected and our nation grieves another black man killed without cause. Mr. Floyd has received justice but there really are no winners.

What he did was wrong I definitely agree with that but I do think the police training has a lot to answer for. They really need to sort that out going forward.

yes, with such short deliberation, I would have been more shocked to hear "not guilty" on any of them.

I think I've watched to many trials, I don't react the same way as I use to

It took a long time to get this way. Going to take longer to correct. :(

I don't think I'll ever forget his insolent, brazen stare being filmed as he was snuffing out GF's life . . .

Well done, Jury! Well done.
