Am I the only one who thinks they got it wrong?

I am still not sure and didn't even have time to read the jury instructions better haha I *think* I would have convicted on manslaughter though.

Wanna bet we get to do this again down the road though?

So there won’t be any rioting, correct?

Chauvin in handcuffs just like GF was when he was on the neck of GF.
He’s got something written on his left palm up by his thumb. Phone numbers perhaps?

I think I would have convicted on at least one charge. All of them though? NO WAY.

ETA: I have a feeling we might do this again...

I think he was. I was watching his chest the entire time and he was never even breathing heavily.

Eric Nelson already prepared him as all defense attorneys do.

Jmho
yes I don't think Nelson or DC were surprised...the 10 hour turn around was a clear sign...he seemed almost eager to get in the cuffs. This was all worth it getting the 2nd degree....this was great justice in action.

those darting eyes....too much

They were going back and forth so fast! I think maybe he was surprised at the murder 2 charge. I think he was thinking he would be guilty on one or both of the lesser charges.

Omg the spot where he died.. they’ve drew an outline of GF with the words ‘I can breathe now’, angel wings on his back. My heart.

Probably not.

However, there may be some rowdy celebrating.

We saw that out here when the Lakers won the 2020 Championship.

JMVHO.

Just want to take a moment to thank all of you that have been posting here throughout the trial for all the great links, ideas, thoughts, and discussions. This won't be 'over' when it's over, but many move on... so thanks for the last few weeks.

Thanks for always being a voice of reason.

I hope for rational discussion and positive change.

We cannot forget Darnella, the young hero whose action made these charges stick. She had the courage to video this horrendous act. Without her video, I doubt there would have even been charges. Thank you Darnella. May you have peace now.

Well, 12 people put in charge of deciding if he was guilty or not said he was. On all 3 charges.

I will not be surprised if this trial is overturned. JMO

I thought I was going to be jubilant with this rightful verdict. Instead I just feel sick. Sick that a man lost his life unnecessarily. Sick, that what we've witnessed was murder. Sick, that a man has thrown his life away also due to his negligent and biased actions. Sick that there are some that support his actions. Just sick.

Court tv is showing the scene at the former cup foods. There’s a chalk outline of George with wings where his body laid as he died, and under the outline it says “now I can breathe”.
