To me, they proved he intentionally killed George when he remained kneeling on his neck back chest leg finger what the heck ever AFTER GEORGE WAS UNCONSCIOUS and most likely dead. DC knew he had no pulse because he was told multiple times by the other “officers” that he had no pulse.

I think the judge put a cramp in Blackwell’s style and that’s why he seems more subdued! This is cross and Blackwell has the right to be firm and demand only yes or no answers. Nelson did exactly the same! That’s the nature of cross exam. JMO
Exactly. Why was it ok when the defense did it but it’s ohhh so wrong when the state does it??

Presume the judge slapped his wrist after the shocking shake of the head!

I really don't think the State is winning any points here. Sorry to repeat my previous comments..

He DID say in a previous deposition that it would take "several officers", which I would say most people would assume several is 3 or > people, and probably assume they're male, and 3 people together would probably weigh more than 200 lbs....I don't think it means much that he didn't specifically mention a specific weight or weight range in a previous disposition

I think, I agree with others, that there is some worry by the State that this witness will be believed by one juror which is why they're pushing back harder on this witness.

I think Blackwell is doing a good job at pointing out the inconsistencies of this witness’ testimony

It looks like the judge is admonishing Blackwell again. IMO

So the sidebar wasn't about the prosecutor asking for yes or no answers from the witness?

Judge called another side bar!! What the heck!! Wow judge is reprimanding the state on these questions! He never did that to Nelson! JMO

Rut Roh! The judge just called another sidebar.

Some of the jury may not like him beating up on this elderly man.

While I think the State will be asking tough questions I worry his demeanor might turn one juror against the State. I don't know, but his tone seems a bit of "gotcha" questions. We shall see as it continues.

The State either overlooked getting carbon monoxide testing done or they purposefully didn't want it tested somehow because any of the results would be admitted (likely,IMO) and that could work against some of their case. I don't know, just thinking aloud.

After the Jodi Arias case, I really don't worry about that.

And Nelson isn’t even objecting. This judge seems biased. IMO

there were plenty sidebars during Nelson's questioning LOL

And the judge didn't just call a sidebar.. Nelson objected. It's really hard to hear the objections though.

Maybe the judge should issue some sanctions. JMO

He shouldn't be an expert...if he can't take the heat of cross...This would not bother me if I were a juror...

The judge isn’t beating up on the witness. Nelson was more hostile to some of the states witnesses

The judge told Blackwell to rephrase his question, Blackwell looked down, shook his head and judge called sidebar immediately.
