Why didn’t they show Chauvin’s video???

The way they presented the evidence and questions (ex. how are the BC's worn etc) I thought they were going to suggest Chauvin's BC was taken off on purpose.

Thank you for posting the DC quote. I had to walk away. This is unbearable. My heart aches for these witnesses. I became physically ill. I can’t even begin to imagine how this has affected their lives.


I couldn’t watch all of it, but saw as they were attempting to, then pushing George into the car. His fear appeared sincere to me, he seemed terrified. I don’t care why, whether it was drug-induced, from past experience, whatever. It doesn’t matter. They got him on the ground. Why was it necessary to knee his neck until he died?

It wasn’t!

And the “mob” (sarcasm!) was yelling at the cops because a man was being killed. Needlessly. What a sick **** DC must be. I wonder how he sleeps.

Q for those who watched the various cams...was Chauvin first on the scene or did he arrive second and take over? TIA.

I think I just heard him say that in the footage from chauvin’s camera before it fell to the ground.

IMO from what we have seen via body cam footage Chauvin and Thao escalated this situation dramatically upon their arrival. Don't believe any of this would have happened had it been Lane and the other officer dealing with GF.

Lane seems concerned about vitals and even suggests moving him to his side, to which Chauvin blatantly ignores.

How Thao 'controls' the crowd in my opinion is 101 of what not to do.

In addition to Thao's comment, "Don't do drugs, kids!" I noticed earlier in the video either he or another police officer said, "This is what happens when you do drugs."

These portions of the body video are important to the prosecution -- as well as a part that is not transcribed word-for-word but Kueng says he checks for a pulse and says "I couldn't find one" -- and Chauvin answers: huh?

I'm glad the judge said he was getting the attorneys to streamline. The sickening video had been played from every angle and perspective over and over. Not sure why the defense isn't objecting due to it being repetitive. I'm not gaining any additional information from the video being replayed constantly. No wonder some jurors are looking away, they've seen it enough times!

Lane seems the most humane. He’s the rookie. The experienced officers are cynical. This all seems like a combination of indifference, ego, cynicism, contempt for drug addicts, impatience, lack of humility. There’s nothing here that involves officers feeling threatened by GF or the crowd. That’s bunk!
