Nelson asking about creds now

  • #162
getting up and shuffling papers around is NOT a good look Mr. Nelson!

  • #163
Saying he hasn’t been on patrol!!

More of an investigative role.

This witness has shown that there was actual ongoing training about what not to do to someone in custody. And Chauvin decided to do those things, anyway, despite knowing it could cause death, i.e., keeping him handcuffed while in prone position. And that doesn’t even include kneeing the person’s neck!

Murder.
This is why I think the jury may find that his actions add up to felony assault.

Someone's told Nelson to up his appearance IMO. I was thinking yesterday that the state looks put together, confident, and smart and Nelson looked somewhat casual... Not that looks of the attorney's should matter but it often does in trials as history shows us. Today Nelson is in a three piece with gelled back hair...

This defense angle is so tiresome! I can’t imagine this is persuasive with the jury. GF was not a serious threat nor was the crowd. This was out of control and unjustified.

I do hope that perhaps someone from LE goes beyond the discussion that he should have discontinued restraints when not resisting, but also give testimony on procedures as to giving aid during medical emergency, especially when a LE contributed to such medical emergency MOO

My prayers first thing this morning have been met with this witness. Hallelujah.

I began prior to trial not knowing if/which charge will be met. I''m moving up now my opinion (which will not be a firm opinion until the jury direction)... that said.

He's clicking the boxes, checking off the check list. And the defense atty is just pizzing off with some of his questioning. e.g. when was the last time you got into physical in the streets etc. and calling him an old school cop.

PFfffffft.

Witness is hitting it out of the ballpark. MOO He's experienced and not defensive, as he KNOWS and TRUSTS that he will have rehabilitation by prosecutors as needed. MOO

He's bringing up if you were in a fight for your life... would you be able to...

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to rehabilitation by the prosecution

PUTTING Zimmerman down is not smart...jury likes him I am sure...they won't buy it.
