#DerekChauvinTrial - Zimmerman says the idea is to calm the person down, "if they are not a threat to you at that point..." you need to try and help them not be as upset.

Zimmerman says when a person is handcuffed and lying on their stomach it makes it more difficult for them to breathe.

Court is on the morning break.

JURY NOTES: From pool reporter- During Zimmerman's testimony about handcuffs, prone position, use of force, several more jurors start taking notes, seems to be something the jury believes is important.

MOOD BETWEEN ATTORNEYS (from pool reporter before court began) Schleicher asks Nelson: “So the only thing you still object to is photos?”

“Well,, I object to YOU”, Nelson replies.

“Just in general?”

Both laugh.

Nelson now up on cross-exam of Lt. Richard Zimmerman.

Police officer responsibility is to prevent the use of force of one person who can use force against others you would prevent that one person.

Witness I wouldn’t say I agree with that

Nelson is implying that he will have testimony from training experts that will say what Chauvin did was okay. Must be paying them a lot of money

This is why I think the jury may find that his actions add up to felony assault.

Are you meaning that it then moves up on ladder on the 3 charges as is he did this committing the felony, that box is checked? I'm moving there today also.
