20 minute break before defense closing.
then, 20 minute break after defense closing.
then, rebuttal.
per Judge.

And it's a wrap-20 min. break per HLN

That is the best I ever heard.
Respect to The State!

Not sure I can even listen to the Defense closing.

It's going to be tough hearing Nelson try to justify DC's murderous behavior that day.

I feel like from all the writing, Chauvin is using his court time to write his tell all book.
If convicted, he won't be able to profit from it.

9 minutes and 29 seconds. Great close by the prosecution. I hope justice is coming to Mr. Floyd and his family.

NAILED IT. He did a fantastic job covering all of the points they talked about in opening, and during the testimony.

This is emotional. Heartfelt thanks in advance to the jury members to take the responsibility seriously. I'm sure this experience will stay with them forever.

Same here. I can’t listen to them continue to tear down a dead man.

Two statements equally resonated with me, FWIW JMO:

“He knew better, but didn’t do better.”

“Awful, but lawful.”

That's how you do it right. No confusion. No open questions. Done.

He stated it was NOT lawful, merely AWFUL.

He quit at the right time. Was about to get too long and start losing my interest but he ended it perfect.

Good thing he is not Juan Martinez. Martinez was disbarred. OT...some of here were Juanettes back in the day.

Martinez got disbarred!?????

ETA/ I just Googled and wow! I was critical of Martinez and got into it with the Juanettes on here in the Arias appeal thread! Although he was highly entertaining to watch....he was a loose cannon!

I know, but at the time, when we were watching that trial, we loved how he took it to the biotch- he put forth a powerful prosecution- He was very animated-- paced back and forth etc.

Can Nelson plant that one seed of reasonable doubt in the mind of one juror?

We really loved Juan at that time. Hanging to his every word. He was a one-man show.
