Thanks for the article.
If anyone is interested in why it will be hard to get a conviction, read this.
I think the guy who wanted to roll George on his side might get a lighter sentence than the others.
Also, I wonder if the drugs that were in George's system were prescribed for medical reasons since his roommate said he was not a druggie.
It might get him off the aiding and abetting second degree murder charge completely, since that statement undercuts the required intent for aiding and abetting.
Keep in mind though that Chauvin is charged with unintentional second degree murder committed during the commission of another felony.
Too be honest, whether Chauvin gets convicted for third degree murder or unintentional second degree murder won't matter for sentencing, since the sentencing guidelines for both are the same.

The guidelines say 150 months for someone with no priors, with a range of 128 to 180 months.
Under what situations is a pension forfeited? When fired? When convicted of a felony while on duty?
I'm wondering if he's lost his pension completely now.
Anyone know or have input? TIA
So George tested positive for the Virus How is that going to affect the funeral??? Anyone I cant see thousands packed in a Houston church and if he tested positive what about his family , they been around and crying on everyone !
No worries. For those of us following the COVID thread we can tell you that the *inactive* particles are there much later and show up on PCR. That was about two month ago the "what is going on with reinfections"... but turned out PCR picks up non-infective stuff (expectedly by scientists, but media went with they were still infectious)
He did NOT have COVID active infection MOO. MOO. I think there are a couple of other folks that follow that thread posting here that can chime in.
So, was GF wearing a mask? And he was out in public having had the virus? Just wondering. So many questions in this case. When I think about poor George having COVID, I have to keep reminding myself that it's bad karma to wish bad karma on others, even if they are murderers. It's hard.

But he knew he had no pulse.
(MINNEAPOLIS) —" A full autopsy of George Floyd, the handcuffed black man who died after being restrained by Minneapolis police, was released Wednesday and provides several clinical details, including that Floyd had previously tested positive for COVID-19."I think so few people are able to get tested, or think about getting tested, that yeah, a lot of us could be walking around with it, without active symptoms. He may not have known, and felt fine, or he may have felt symptoms that could be attributed to something else, and the Covid may have complicated the effect of the officer's heinous actions.
Lots of people aren't wearing masks, and may live in areas where there's social and political pressure to "get back to normal", where masks aren't encouraged and may even be mocked.
I am not sure it is true he wasn't infective. He tested positive in April but didn't he again test positive during the autopsy? I have tried to follow the Covid-19 thread but am unsure if your invective period is only at the beginning of testing positive. He wasn't infective at all. But I do get your gist as to if there is asymptomatics for funeral... yep. That is the issue, not his body MOO.

Having a funeral that has nothing to do with his status, and folks hugging etc etc.. that is an issue on how to do with the funeral which there may be in place rules by the governor which may impact such.
Outdoors with distancing? Dunno. Virtual? Dunno.

George Floyd was infected with COVID-19, autopsy reveals
"The report further noted that a nasal swab sample collected from Floyd's body came back positive for COVID-19, and that Floyd had also tested positive on April 3, nearly eight weeks before his death."
I am sure you all noted tbat George Floyd was saying he couldnt breathe before he went down to the ground- i wondered why he was having a problem breathing before he went down to the ground---now we know why---'the autopsy revealed he had corona virus - so it is even more unconscionable that those officers were aware he was having problems breathingbefore officer Chauvin kept his knee firmly planted on his neck for 9 minutes---
i think the prosecution will raise that issue during the trial-- which makes Chauvin's
horrible behavior even more egregious
