I believe yes, LE was hasty in naming DR as a suspect. It seems to me they feel the need to name someone as a POI (which means NOTHING in court by the way) just for the simple reason that they are executing a search warrant of someone's property. It's widely known in St. Joseph and has been publicly reported nothing was found in the dirt taken for analysis. Again, tests on my property were completed in 1 month, though LE told me otherwise. Stearns kept telling me the BCA had my property, though when some of the property I have received, clearly shows they received the property months prior. If they would've found anything, he would have been arrested immediatly.

I don't think naming a POI in 2010 is hasty, is it?

There have been many many many cases on here that a person is arrested a long time after the evidence is analyzed.

You were exonerated right away when ballistics were analyzed.

DR has stated that he crossed the tape in the AM.

Right, and I would have to imagine plenty of LE had walked on it prior to it being secured.

Reasonable doubt is interesting. Is it reasonable. Not that there is NO DOUBT?

But we are lucky that LE does not manufacture evidence as can be seen in
Tinner's case as well as Jacob's

The question was about the tape. We know nothing except it was there in the AM.

I wonder if anyone who is criticizing it has read it.

I am mystified as there is nothing in it that should bother anyone except maybe Hollinger

I think it answers that in the last sentence of the statement from TJWRC's.

Can you be more specific as I am wondering about errors as there are citations after citations in that vook.

What are these errors? Are they going to be addressed by someone in the know?

It is such a mystery

Ummm, no. Nobody should be named a POI until they have something more than hearsay to get their search warrant to look for their evidence. As it stands right now there is zero evidence to suggest DR, or for that matter, anyone else is connected to this crime. I wasn't cleared of anything publicly by LE for 10 months. I don't consider that right away. The problem I have is that there was absolutely no evidence for them to label me as a suspect in the first place, as they have done to DR.

I am curious. Beside gut feelings, is there something that one knows that the rest of us do not re the evidence? I feel thinking being named POI means nothing is a gut feeling on some people's part

My advice would be to contact TJWRC and ask them what the errors are. Myself and many others in town have no intentions on reading the book being very few actual interviews were done with those directly involved and the simple fact (modsnip) Little disrespectful with the Minnesota values some of us were raised with.

His parents need to know and think about it if true. DR needs to clarify his actions with us that night, if he can't he's guilty. Did he or didn't he tell anyone about the tan monte carlo or the second car before going to work the next morning?

Because if he told me he didnt I might be staring straight into the eyes of a killer. As a parent of 2, I cant place myself in that danger.

People on here were so excited about Eloc's book which he wrote with no glory for himself. Zero.

He presents facts with numerous citations. Has no one else read the book and has no one else comments on the content ?

There are facts in there. Aren't people curious about that or are conspiracies more appealing?

I'm attempting to present the facts, some facts get modded for whatever reason, and some facts are ignored, and maybe some consider what I bring to the table. I'm done with talking about DR, let's look at some actual evidence. So, I was looking at pictures of prints in the driveway of what are thought to be left by the perpetrator. To me they appear to be from a type of shoe I think may have been pretty popular in the late 80's and may still be to this date....not exactly my style but those interested in actual evidence please let me know what you think. It may not be exact but if someone can find or knows of something closer please let me know. As most have probably seen this photo the print in question is identified by the blue arrow. The pic of the soles may not be an exact match but would correlate to the type of shoe in question being different types of shoes have different treads.

Its a strange shoe, maybe a pair given to the rassier family of 8. Is it a dairy boot or shoe with slip resistance? Could these be monk issued apparel?
