People are digging into Justine's life too, they just haven't found anything of significance. I'm not saying all cases are treated equally, I was just saying if Justine's was a POC and nothing else about the case was different I don't think it would be treated any different. JMO

Really? Where is the info on that?

Four so far this month. But that's only cases that have threads here.

And two days ago the charges against Ray Tensing were dismissed.

this is happening very often...there was another one near Minneapolis since Justine's shooting.

Agree. Every wrongful death deserves justice and public discussion. I can look around this thread and see the same group of people who are protesting and asking questions about every case like this one. Every time one of the cases is posted, I know who can be counted on to show up and defend the rights of the victims and their families. That's consistency and that's how we should handle it.

Really? Interesting . I see the people who searched Castile's criminal record and played Diamond's youtubes crying for Justine, as we all should. As I said, the difference is glaring.

Why can't cases stand on there own? Why do they have to be compared to other cases?
In almost every single thread on WS, other cases are brought in to compare.

Unreal. I wonder who has ever heard of one of those. Not me

There was way more to it than just a dab of DNA on the gun. Scroll up and you can see the forensics and witness testimony that was used to corroborate the officers story.

These 2 shootings have ZERO in common. And I hate that they all get lumped together. Just because someone is 'unarmed' it does not mean they are not a danger and a severe threat.

And it does this victim in Minneapolis a huge disservice to lump her together with Michael Brown, imo.

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone again......now we have conspiracies with Justine's DNA on the gun and her grabbing for a weapon???? Let's stick to the facts people.....I know this is an emotional issue, but this case has NOTHING in common with the Brown killing......and I can list all the reasons why if necessary. Wow. MOO

Are you implying that these other shootings are unjustified police shootings?

I was not the one to bring up the Brown case. I was responding to others who tried to conflate these 2 cases.

Has it been determined Justine's shooting was unjustified? If so I missed it.

Derailing a thread again I see.

I believe this thread has been closed down before for the racial undertones that many posters are STILL implying.......there is another forum for it - please use it.....because I, for one, would like this thread to stay open and on topic. MOO

The BCA report was compiled about seven hours after the shooting
Also detailed in the report are several items recovered from the scene and submitted for forensic examination by investigators.
A 9mm cartridge shell, Damond's mobile phone, blood from the rear driver's side door of the squad car, and fingerprints and spots on the rear and exterior of the vehicle were all recorded by the BCA.

Yes it does. Both officers Noor and Wilson could have easily avoided murdering another human being. Neither were in imminent danger for their lives when they pulled the trigger.

After googling the first half of the list, I think it is reasonable that these cases would receive less attention. Very different circumstances.

Brian Easley, a 33-year-old black man, was shot on July 7, 2017, in Marietta, Ga.

The driver of the getaway van, caught in the middle of a burglary, tried to run over the responding officers...and they opened fire at the oncoming van.

Walter Lynde, a 49-year-old white man with a toy weapon, was shot on July 23, 2017, in Spencer, Mass.
http://www.masslive.com/news/worcester/index.ssf/2017/07/what_we_know_about_the_man_fat.html

A man was fatally shot by police in Spencer on Sunday night after authorities said he pointed what looked like a firearm at an officer.
Spencer police responded to a report of a domestic dispute*on Sunday at 8:06 p.m.

So I am not sure why these cases are even being brought here, to this case?

That disingenuous and you know it. Nobody tried to conflate the 2 cases.
