I hope the appeal process is quickly dealt with so we don’t have to see his name ever again.

In late January, David and Cathy Kingsbury, Madeline’s parents, filed to terminate Fravel’s parental rights, claiming that he had failed to fulfil parental duties such as providing the children with food, shelter, clothing, and the like.

Cathy Kingsbury told ABC 6 News that Fravel has continued claiming innocence, and he prefers “that his brother or sister have the kids.”

The matter is scheduled for a pretrial hearing in Winona County Court April 7, followed by a court trial April 21-22.

His sister, really?

IMO - Fravel, a narcissistic piece of carp. Is exerting the last bit of control he has over anything to do with Maddie's family. He won't win. For God's sakes, he killed their Mother!!

According to state law, a person who has been convicted of first-degree murder can appeal directly from the district court to the Supreme Court.

Adam Fravel, convicted to life in prison for the murder of Madeline Kingsbury, appealed his Winona County conviction on Monday, March 17.

Chief Appellate Public Defender Cathryn Middlebrook filed requests for all of Fravel’s pretrial, trial, and post-trial exhibits “in a review of his conviction and sentence.”

The filings were made Monday, Jan. 13.

Adam Fravel, the father of Kingsbury’s young children, was convicted of her murder and is now in prison. But there’s unfinished business in the case, involving those children.

A trial had been scheduled for this week in Winona, to determine which grandparents might be allowed custody or visitation rights for Kingsbury’s children.

Minnesota state court officials, however, told WIZM the trial was cancelled and a proposed settlement may be approved by the courts in the near future.

I wonder why he agreed to terminate? Certainly not because it’s in the best interests of the kids, don’t believe that for a second.
