Michelle Mae, 35, of Outing, MN, was last seen on October 2. No word where she was last seen.

She is described as 5′ 1″ with green eyes.

Mae’s vehicle is also missing. It’s described as a 2004 black Jeep Liberty.

Anyone with information about Mae or her vehicle whereabouts is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at 218-547-1424 or 1-800-450-2677.

Not much information on her current life circumstances? Last seen, SO or boyfriend? A post on her page back in August says she is contracted to do work at four Dollar General stores, a few others talk about working at a bar. Looks like she has kids that need thier Mama back. Hopefully more information is made available.

There was another MP case in Cass County that I followed, but the name is escaping me at the moment. Anyone else remember, it was pretty high profile IIRC?

A hunter located Mae's missing Jeep on Friday, Oct. 4 in Aitkin County in a rural area southwest of Hill City, which is approximately 20-30 miles from Outing.

It was described as a rural area which, of course, doesn't necessarily mean "woods," but it's possible.

Standard procedure would warrant a search of the area where the vehicle was found and we haven't heard about that either.

More than likely, yes. That area is all woods and water (State Forest area). Aitkin County is north of the Twin Cities.... see googlemap below:

So Michelle's Jeep Liberty was found roughly 17 miles from Outing, assuming that was her last seen location. Pretty isolated out there. I wonder how far from Swatara her car was actually found? There are a few decent sized lakes outside of town (if you can call it that).
