It's cyrillic letters being used to render English words as they would be pronounced - it's not Russian. It says, "Annunciation. From memory".

I cannot imagine that the shooter's pain from depression was so great as the pain they've caused their parents, siblings, and the victims and their families. Plus they've just created even greater problems for their trans community. Why write such a glowing account of their family life to their parents and siblings and then do this?

Just when I think it's the worst I've heard, something like this comes out.

I wonder what prompted the end. Did the shooter run out of bullets and then ended their life or did something intervene? with the doors being blocked, then seems like no one could exit (not sure they would want to if the gunman is outside shooting in.

Hi everyone.

His last video is available online, and it is genuinely strange. He puts a flippant twist on his actions, saying something like, "I hope my horrible crime doesn't haunt you for the rest of your days, change your name if you have to! Love you " and he laminated his handwritten manifesto. He appears to have written on the weapons and ammunitions with cringe, "edgy" memes. He also convinced himself he has lung cancer because he occasionally feels pain in his chest (??) and states that he refuses to die in a hospital bed. The letter is ended with, "Pray for the victims and their families" which is pure craziness.

Robin Westman posted a manifesto on YouTube prior to Annunciation Church shooting

The disturbing videos showed Westman's arsenal of guns, ammunition, and what appears to be a handwritten manifesto addressed to Westman's family and friends.

He also says "forget me" constantly throughout the manifesto yet committed an act so heinous against his community that he will be vilified forever. The letter came off self-centered, delusional, and completely lacks accountability.

This act is so horrible I cannot bear to read about the details of it, so I am not going to mention more about the crime itself.

Usually I am curious about what led up to a crime. But I'll be honest here that I don't want to know more about this shooter who so heinously sought out children in the most peaceful of places where they should feel safe (literally in a sanctuary!) and who knowingly hurt her family and rubbed salt in their wounds with that self-centered note publicly posted.

I'll take the perp's advice and forget about her. Easily done.

As a middle school teacher I’ve conducted my share of school shooter drills along with all the other disaster preparedness drills, but it didn’t occur to me that any students would consider school shooting as “goals.”

Who knows who’s out there now, a young child also seeing this as a cool and exciting thing to do?

I’m with those on the side of keeping the names and pictures anonymous. Take away what they envision as future fame and glory.

Also reporter Aaron Rupar's children may have been at that school when it happened. His kids are okay but what a horrific thing for them and everyone to experience.

Occasionally it appears a parent can be charged, but this shooter, at age 23, was an adult. Parents not responsible.

How does someone get this messed up and no one either sees it or can help them? Or is it that it can be seen but there is nothing that can be done until something like this happens? I am at a loss.
