As of right now they haven't released any information on when and where the guns were purchased. IMO I don't think it would seem odd that he bought three of them. Some people will buy multiple guns at the same time to save money doing them all on one background check instead of having to pay for separate ones. They would ask generic questions, most gun shop employees don't delve too much into questions outside of what the buyer is looking for, what caliber, how does it feel etc

Nevertheless, it’s important information about this case. The public has a right to know. It’s scary to realize it’s so easy for a mentally unbalanced person to have such easy access to multiple weapons.

I wonder if RW really did point the gun at the ex's head? Was it reported? Not sure I believe any of RW's words. Treading carefully here. The ex is potentially a victim here too - at a minimum - a victim of the words of a sick person.

It's entirely possible the murderer made the whole thing up. However, this person did successfully demonstrate to the entire world what they were capable of, and it was a million times worse than pointing a gun at a girlfriend's head. So, there's that as well.

Is the ex a victim as well? In my opinion, 100%.

Wow. I just read the article. I didn't think I could have more disdain for this shooter than I did, but this article is horrible. I don't think there was a reason to print it other than sensationalism and I hope this person has support and privacy now this has hit the media for public consumption.

I wish I hadn't read his hateful words and invaded this victim's privacy.

I keep thinking of degranged people who smear their feces on the floors, walls, etc. That is what his writings remind me of. Literal crap. Sorry to be gross.

Hideous murderer probably did point the gun at the ex. Thought nothing of slaughtering 2 kids, injuring many others, some gravely.

I just hope the young girl that had part of her skull removed can make a full recovery, but there will likely be lasting life-altering damage. The survivors will all suffer emotionally as well as physically.

So we grieve, and move forward.

Per the article, the shooter pointed a weapon at the back of her head. To see how it would feel. Only felt fear thst she might turn around and see.

She is indeed a victim. And a target. The shooter would have killed her, except it would have interfered with the larger massacre.

He had to go through two different background checks, one at the local/state level and then another one at the federal level. Had anything popped up he would have been denied. The supporting systems need to be fixed.
