Senior Trump administration officials have been condemned by fellow conservatives for jumping to conclusions about the shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.

IMO This is not live action role playing. Calling your self a legal observer does not cloak you from the law. A legal observer is not a protected status. Again, dangerous obstruction of a legal, federal operation. Unlawful assembly. These are not the Robin Hood’s of our society. Yet, this behavior will continue to be encouraged by some officials, giving the dangerous and false impression that you will successfully stop federal operations. IMO

Even if this was considered "unlawful assembly", that is a misdemeanor charge in MN. Not a death sentence penalty.

I think that the autopsy will find that Alex was shot in the back multiple times (maybe 10 or 11 times) while laying front-down on the ground.

The victim ........ "The man has been identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a 37-year-old US citizen, intensive care unit (ICU) nurse and Veterans Affairs employee.

It is the person who ICE were looking for (not Alex Pretti) who is a 51-year old person who had charges in his background.

I’m sure this administration will try to spin it as he was armed and posing a threat to the officers (even if video evidence proves otherwise) but MN is a legal concealed carry state and the Minneapolis police chief has already confirmed that the victim did have a legal permit to carry a gun and had zero criminal history besides a few speeding tickets. He clearly isn’t using his own gun or even able to reach his gun in any video I’ve seen so far, before they started shooting him point blank as he laid on the ground

That’s all they do. Lie, lie, lie and lie some more about everything. I’ve watched every video of Alex’s death, he was not a threat to them. The fact that anyone is still listening to the Trump administration on anything is ridiculous.

DHS tried to take two people to court in Chicago last year, for having loaded guns at a protest.

A federal grand jury issued a 'no bill', refusing to indict the two people.


During a similar immigration operation in Chicago last year, two people who lawfully possessed loaded firearms at a protest were arrested and charged under a federal statute that makes it a felony to assault or impede a federal agent.

That argument quickly failed when a federal grand jury took the rare step of issuing a "no bill" in that case, which meant they declined to issue indictments.

Very likely what they were doing. Recently it came out that ICE stole a teenager’s phone after detaining him and his father because the teen recorded them abusing him and his father.

Two witnesses to the killing have said in sworn testimony that the intensive care nurse was not brandishing a weapon when he approached federal agents in Minneapolis on Saturday.

One witness, who filmed the shooting from right behind Pretti, said federal agents tackled him after he came to help someone whom they had pushed to the ground.

Footage from the scene supports the assertion that Pretti is holding a phone, not a gun, when he was tackled and shot.
