A cry after Mankato shooting: 'Daddy killed Mommy'
Moments after Joel Munt was arrested in the shooting death of his former wife, one of his three young children reportedly told a police officer: "Daddy killed Mommy."

The children were inside Svetlana Munt's car when she was shot seven times, including once in the head, on Sunday morning at a Mankato, Minn., park. One child was struck in the face with glass when a car window shattered.

Munt, 48, was sentenced to life in prison without parole in September 2011. He was convicted of shooting 32-year-old Svetlana Munt to death after ramming her car with his SUV in Rasmussen Woods park in March 2010.

He also was convicted of stealing a third vehicle at gunpoint and kidnapping the children, who were in their mother's car as she jumped into the back seat with them in an attempt to hide from the gunfire.
