for locals, I am curious. are the large houses in this neighborhood divided into apartments? they seem spacious and well maintained. is it a neighborhood with a lot of transient tenants that ICE could suspect could be illegal? just seeing videos, it does not seem like a place I would think was a "good" target for ICE raids.

According to Noem, the mission was to rescue and ICE vehicle stuck in the snow. Noem’s statement directly cuts against the argument that Good was obstructing justice in any conceivable way. ICE has no jurisdiction over traffic offenses.

Yes, how many times now have we seen ICE waiting outside hearing rooms for the immigrants who are doing it the "right way" to walk out?

They were at work, on the clock, and thus should have been doing their job. Their job is to find and detain undocumented people. They stopped to argue with protesters. That is not their job.

It almost seems like a setup. They stopped to do the job of another LE agency, he put himself in "harm's way", then shot and killed an American citizen for a minor traffic infraction.

Handled badly by ICE, all the way round.

Apparently it was shooting 37 year old mothers with the family dog in the vehicle. They towed the Honda less than an hour after their "mission". Interesting...

I think many many many people are finding ICE to be more and more like "secret police"...
Federal not individual states, brutal tactics, masks, lies to defend them etc etc.....

Moo.... Some people are unhappy with the administration . So they are protesting just like in Iran at the moment. Some people want change. It will not be pretty it never is. Civil war.

I think the change people want is more accountability for law enforcement, ALL law enforcement, including the feds. When you think about it, are these protests any different than the Rodney King protests? The only reason this extends to the administration is because they (unwisely IMO) placed themselves right in the middle of the action by immediately calling the victim a terrorist and backing up the agent. Had they taken Tom Homan's approach, these protests would be entirely about ICE's training and accountability and not about the administration.

I just hope ICE guy's murder conviction will be after the new people's government is in place as the current one will just pardon the guy anyway.
