Nothing illegal was done by the victim, absolutely NOTHINGLiterally never said it was illegal. But what Ms Good was doing was illegal. No question

How long will ICE/LE be allowed to harass, intimidate, stalk, attack and execute American citizens in the streets going to continue? JMO Memphis business owner posted sign saying ICE was not allowed in their restaurant and ICE, FBI, Police, etc. came and harassed him, video in article. https://wegotthiscovered.com/politi...ife-after-putting-up-anti-ice-sign-in-window/
She was not obstructing. The ICE car drove past her and the agents decided to stop, exit the car, and walk back to confront her. Why? They were past her so she wasn't obstructing them. They were on their way to detain those dangerous undocumented criminals at the school. Why did they stop to go back and confront a bystander?Obstruction threatens public safety and the rule of law. <Modsnipped-off topic>. JMO. I said what I said.
Actually if truth is what we are going for, the word "murder" is opinion and at this point not fact.False. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but not their own facts. Renee is dead because Ross murdered her, unprovoked. JMO
Not illegal, a death sentence instead imoProtesting is NOT illegal in the US. IMO

I have been avoiding this thread like the plague because I have moral beliefs that do not align with Trump and/or ICE. Please forgive me if I am discussing something that has been previously discussed.
A) why not shoot at her tires? In previous murder cases I’ve followed that have zero dispute about whether the murderer was or was not the shooter have shown me that officers are TAUGHT to not kill anyone. Most law enforcement officers want a fair and just trial for EVERYONE.
B) IMO only: why was Ashli Babbit a true American patriot when those …individuals were ACTIVELY shooting at LE?
I won’t wait for a response. Because she was a Trumper.
I am certainly not the judge and jury, this is my opinion only.
I fear there will be no judge and jury though. Trump called Babbit a true American patriot. Vance said that he can believe that this is a tragedy while also believing that Good created her own murder, saying this:
This is a guy who’s actually done a very, very important job for the United States of America,” Vance said of the agent, noting that the officer had previously been struck twice by vehicles in the past six months, once suffering injuries that required more than 30 stitches. “He’s been assaulted, he’s been attacked. He’s been injured because of it. He deserves a debt of gratitude.”
Vance Defends ICE Agent in Minneapolis Shooting, Blames 'Far Left'
I’m so sad about all of this.
What obstruction?Obstruction threatens public safety and the rule of law. <Modsnipped-off topic>. JMO. I said what I said.
Moo.... Some people are unhappy with the administration . So they are protesting just like in Iran at the moment. Some people want change. It will not be pretty it never is. Civil war.Things are pretty heated up there in Minneapolis <modsnipped>
I expect the White House may be in consultation with the Mayor and Governor. I'd think maybe beneficial if everybody cool off a bit. I doubt the state will triumph over the feds in this issue.
Whatever side a person is on here, things will either explode for a time, or folks will calm. For now, I think an escalation is likely planned well organized and funded by folks opposed to the current U.S. administration.
That's my opinion![]()
How has this happened to the US so fast? We need a Hero and we need to be that Hero fast! IMOThe al

I disagree. I see obstruction, along with many, many others. The ICE vehicle was able to get past her vehicle, but her vehicle being in that position was intentional. She was obstructing, she was not a bystander. In Minnesota you aren’t allowed to have your vehicle in that position on the road - it’s considered blocking the road. She was not obstructing. There is a long and storied history in this country of citizens standing up for injustices, putting themselves in harm's way, suffering jail, injury, and death, in order to make this country and its laws better.
I remember being HORRIFIED as a teen, seeing images and film from the Civil Rights period, with law enforcement officers with vicious dogs and fire hoses, attacking people trying to end the laws that kept black people as less than citizens with full rights.
I would hope that anyone looking at those images and films from prior human rights movements would agree that the people standing up and saying, "No, I will not go to the back of the bus" and "No, I will not move from the diner counter" and "No, I will not attend a lesser school" were right and just, and that the law enforcement and government entities trying to keep people "in their place" were wrong. Same for women's rights. Same for LGBTQ+ rights. War, Climate justice, Disability rights, Education rights, children's labor laws, etc, etc, etc. "No, I will not hide my love" "No, I will not give up my right to vote" "No, I do not believe this war is just." "No, I do not believe fossil fuels should be the only form of energy."
I believe in my heart, and hope that the same will be true for immigrants' rights. That the people putting their lives on the line in order to bring attention to the injustice of the current war on immigrants will be talked about in the same way as those who fought for civil rights.
And no, I don't believe that violent criminal undocumented immigrants should have a free pass to stay in this country. I just believe that the deliberate terrifying raids and assaults on communities and other actions are not necessary. This is a smart county with incredible resources. Militarizing ICE and having them act like they are taking over a country they've just invaded is not necessary. Track down the criminals, use the surveillance tools we have, and quietly pick them off, one by one, and send them where they need to go. Stephen Miller's quota of deportations is not correlated with the number of violent criminals. Unless he equates any undocumented immigrant as a violent criminal......
Ok so what part of blocking the street for 3 minutes justifies being shot in the face?I disagree. I see obstruction, along with many, many others.
