Good point. How could he hold a cup of coffee? He already had his phone in one hand and gun in the other.

Or having coffee spilled on you apparently. So you consider drawing a gun on somebody verbally taunting you an appropriate reaction? Showing the possibility of deadly force for somebody thumbing their nose at you, basically?
I don't believe that's proof. She was attempting to drive away, but why exactly is conjecture. And I'd also hope that it's not standard to shoot somebody who is trying to escape from being detained. I'm not American though so there may be something I'm just not understanding. I can't see that trying to escape from being detained is a capital offence, allowing a summary execution as it were. And her turning the wheel only proves she was driving away to escape from being detained.

Previously, no. Only perhaps in a case where someone was being detained for a sufficiently violent crime, and considered dangerous to others. But under our current "legal" system, there are no real boundaries, so shoot first, worry about questions or the necessary Spin, later.I don't believe that's proof. Yes, it's rather worrisome. I'm glad to not be in the US.Previously, no. Only perhaps in a case where someone was being detained for a sufficiently violent crime, and considered dangerous to others. Probably the gun went off because the officer was Jolted when he got run into. And he was a part of the group taking part in detaining the... persons of interest.I don't believe that's proof. That's not who I saw, MOThe video I saw featured one car going around her as she crept forward as it if to block it.
A second car stopped. I have a feeling that if I were to position my car perpendicular to traffic and then creep towards other cars in other lanes, the local police would consider me to be blocking a street.
Guns go off that easily?Probably the gun went off because the officer was Jolted when he got run into

That's not what I saw on the video, MOThat’s an emotional distortion of what happened from my perspective. This isn’t about being fine with killing, dancing or personality. She was interfering in a federal operation (like it or not, they are doing their jobs), parked her car perpendicular in the darn road, she refused commands, she backed up, again she’s being told to get out of the car, she backs up, then accelerates, a four thousand pound moving vehicle coming at the agent, her vehicle then made contact with the agent. In that split second it became a perceived lethal threat assessment. Multiple shots are fired because officers are trained to shoot until the threat stops. There is no rule that one shot is enough. His aim was deliberate and targeted.
It’s incredibly sad that Ms. Good* has been killed. It is. I’m also relieved this agent was not injured. He was doing his job.
Si now what. This could be a civil case, that I strongly believe goes no where. Perhaps criminal charges, again that I believe goes no where.
Tennessee vs Gardner is the standard that likely rules in favor of the agent.
All my opinion

There are lots of other threads that aren't so political, if you prefer that.Wow …. politics running wild on this thread.
What happened to Websleuths ?
I hadn't heard of that 'take' before! That the shooter got jolted which is why his gun went off?! I don't think so! He clearly was aiming it at the windshield!Probably the gun went off because the officer was Jolted when he got run into. And he was a part of the group taking part in detaining the... persons of interest.

Most likely raised by a misogynistIs his dear father proud of his son calling Renee a f***ing b*tch two seconds after he shot her in the face three times?
How tremendously Christian of him.
