Perspectives and state of mind.
Lol. No one is going to be charged for a crime based on how they decorate their cars or homes. And none of the items (stickers, signs, flags, etc.) are out of the norm or unusual and would never have any bearing on a case. It is not even news-worthy, just click bait from the publication.

Nothing about this case is funny. Hopefully he'll be charged for the crime he committed, then attorneys will construct their case. This would come into play regarding how he viewed other races/genders, etc. and motive. One of many components. jmo

They were there to help protect their neighbors. Impeding traffic is one way. However, we see many vehicles going around either side, so there was lots of room. It was more of a visual block. From their comments "It'll be the same license plate when you come around to our house later" it looks like they expected to be arrested. They knew what they were doing was not legal, but were willing to pay the price of an arrest, as many conscientious objectors have over the decades. They did NOT expect to be killed.

I totally agree with the overall point… they were there to make noise and protect their neighbors.

But I’m not sure the license plate comment meant they expected to be arrested or thought they were doing something illegal. To me, it comes across as mocking ICE for their plate-changing tactics and basically saying, “We’ll be waiting when you come back.”

Either way, I agree that they were just exercising their rights and absolutely did not expect to be killed.

Anyone who has been to protests and encountered local and federal LE knows how things go down. Renee's wife is being a bit snarky/sardonic, but she knows from experience what ICE, etc. are like. She's not pretending to think they will be fair, and they most definitely would put her and Renee in their database with faces, license plate number, etc. I'm not sure how people aren't seeing what's happening, but it's BAD and sadly will only get worse. this case will never go to trail (IMO) and there is no way the FBI will even look into it. But on the very very off chance that it will he will be pardoned in the blink of an eye.

"Neighbors said that Jonathan Ross is “a hardcore MAGA supporter,” with one noting that they’d seen Trump stickers and a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag — often associated with opposition to government overreach — outside his home." Father of ICE agent who shot Renee Good breaks silence over killing
It's richly ironic that Ross is opposed to government over-reach. By all appearances, he abused his government job to trample on the most basic of civil rights: life.

MOO

Actually, it appears to me that it is just the opposite - that many protesters want escalation and that has been happening in many cities around the country, especially when their own state and city leaders are vilifying our federal agents for doing their jobs to arrest illegal immigrants.

If you think, it is bad on both sides.

For ICE: not great that the whole world sees "ICE at work".

Also: it is hard to draw the line between "it is only about illegal immigrants" and "if you are in the country legally, you have nothing to be fear" now. After an ICE agent shot a US citizen in the face... This is what this case has done. Now there is always an answer, "Renee Good".

On the other hand, I am not against civilian protest. It is the country of the First Amendment, after all. But if each act of activity ends up with people dying and kids being left orphans, what's the point?

So, politically active people have to look at this video as learning material. They have to decide how to organize future "ICE watch" acts smarter. Blocking streets is dangerous, especially during the snow and black ice. I know that while whistles are heard well, they make a very high-pitched noise. Maybe the time has come to find/make some loud, but not so irritating instruments (one could make startup, btw). People want to register what these masked people with no bodycams are doing? Fine. But be careful, don't get yourselves killed.

Also, Renee and her partner appear very friendly, but slightly naive, IMO. Friendly progressive gals with toys in their cars ( This is so sad. The partner made a light joke that was meant to deescalate...But here is the lesson I am learning: jokes are a dangerous thing. (It is totally opposite to everything that i have heard, but seems so now). You can't put /s in your speech. And, you can't count on a person's sense of humor. Also, Ross's self-esteem is probably nil. You end up joking with the person who is holding a gun and, in Ross's case, lacks common sense. The result is abysmal.

And of course, realistically: Ross has dragged all his team down with him.

Renee Nicole Good seen ‘dancing’ as she blocks ICE agents for several minutes before fatal Minneapolis shooting

Well, I guess shooting her was justified then. God I hate this country and many of the people in it.

So What. We know she was there warning neighbors ice was in the neighborhood. A moment of levity does not constitute getting her head blown off. Or does it?
Lots of people in this country think Exactly that.

Moo....USA will be like Northern Ireland if it keeps going this way. Except it will be right vs left. I thought the powers in control were for all its citizens regardless of political choice. Is there only one choice now?

I believe it is all economy...and a tad of Fox News, too.

But usually, when the economy is bad, the choice is to vote for the opposite party in the hope that they'd change things. They don't or can't or both. The next time, they vote for the other one.

The moment economy is up, it evens up.

The whole world has become more conservative. I think it follows the recession.

Same, sharing our country with hateful delusionals

Imagine thinking someone's a psychopath for dancing but thinking the person who shot someone repeatedly in the face and killing them, is just fine...dear god. Jmo.

The FBI works for this admin so no.
“We have investigated ourselves and have found ourselves clear of any wrongdoing. Case closed”

IMO.

Lots of people in this country think Exactly that.

They are in the state of cognitive dissonance. They voted against illegal immigrants and the fact that an ICE agent has shot US citizen and is promised immunity is hard to swallow.

Two days ago it was worse as she was young, blonde, a poet, pretty, a Christian, military widow, three kids. Today everyone is commenting on a lesbian partner but it doesn't change much, in essence. It is a huge crack in people's conscience. It hadn't reached the surface yet but it exists.

Her dancing was disrespectful to the dignity and gravitas of ICE's noble work, I guess? Remedy: summary execution.

IMO that kind of generalised belief evidence usually isn’t admissible. The Chauvin trial showed how narrowly courts limit what comes in. IMO verdicts are usually based on evidence tied to the incident.
