Again, protesting is not illegal. Heckling law enforcement is not illegal. Yelling at them is not illegal. Filming them is not illegal. Blowing whistles is not illegal.

Law enforcement has the onus to DE-ESCALATE a situation. That is one of their job duties.

As for ICE officers wanting to go home at night in one piece, they should learn deescalation and learn to not put themselves in a dangerous position, like in front of a car for no good reason. Apparently that's against their own rules of conduct, which is quoted here on the thread.

Again, ICE has no jurisdiction over state and local traffic violations.

Then it’s ICE/law enforcements job to find her name and license plate so she can be charged with obstruction. Officer Ross had her face and plates on film. At that point, he should get in his car, look her up in his computer and issue her a citation. That would be what a well trained law enforcement would do. Even if she was “fleeing” before he was able to charge her with obstruction, it doesn’t matter! He has her info so she can still be charged. Officers are not taught to shoot at a suspect, even if they are fleeing the scene of a crime. They are also taught not to walk in front of a suspects vehicle. Officer Ross didn’t do what a well trained officer is taught to do.
