INDEPENDENCE, Mo. —
The parents of a 3-year-old child who fell to his death at Independence Towers have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against multiple companies, alleging they are responsible for dangerous living conditions and defective windows.

Moses Bass and Destiny Randle, who have been charged in connection with the child’s death, filed the lawsuit on April 7.

The lawsuit accuses building owners, managers, window contractors and manufacturers of negligence and product liability.
