Missing man's car turns up 20 miles from where he was last seen

A landowner in Douglas County found a car belonging to a missing man from Norwood. No one has reported seeing Bobby Buttram, 43, since June 13 in Mountain Grove.

Vigil held for missing Norwood man

Wright County deputies are still searching for Bobby Buttram after finding his car in Douglas County.
Wright County Sheriff Glenn Adler says investigators found his car parked on a dirt trail off a county road near Drury on Thursday. Buttram was last seen in Mountain Grove on June 13th.

Search dogs found Bobby Buttram's body this morning near Drury Missouri on county road 244...

While investigators don't think this is a homicide they wait for an autopsy to give them the clues they need.

Searchers found the body of a missing man whose car was found on Thursday. Bobby Buttram's body was about a quarter of a mile away from where his car was parked near Drury in eastern Douglas County. Authorities say it's what was found in Bobby Buttrams car that makes his death suspicious.
