SENATH, Mo. - The FBI says new potential evidence in the search for a missing Missouri girl has led them to a targeted area about two miles from her home and digital billboards are displaying the 3-year-old's picture in Missouri and Arkansas.
Authorities have not offered any details about the potential evidence, but said the area now being searched is on County Road 568 in Dunklin County, about two miles southeast of Breeann Rodriguezs home.

The new canine units are serving two roles in the search. One group is comprised of scent dogs that Police Chief Omar Karnes says are working on a newly discovered scent in the target area. The second are cadaver dogs, whose purpose is to detect the remains of deceased people.
NBC News reports that the searchers are hoping those dogs wouldnt find what they are trained to recover.
