SENATH, Mo. - The FBI says new “potential evidence” in the search for a missing Missouri girl has led them to a targeted area about two miles from her home and digital billboards are displaying the 3-year-old's picture in Missouri and Arkansas.

Authorities have not offered any details about the potential evidence, but said the area now being searched is on County Road 568 in Dunklin County, about two miles southeast of Breeann Rodriguez’s home.

Clipped from the above mentioned article...

The new canine units are serving two roles in the search. One group is comprised of scent dogs that Police Chief Omar Karnes says are working on a newly discovered scent in the target area. The second are cadaver dogs, whose purpose is to detect the remains of deceased people.

NBC News reports that the searchers are hoping those dogs wouldn’t find what they are trained to recover.

What type of Prep would start disassembling the bike and leaving pieces here and there....:waitasec:

It leave more traceable evidence

I can see why LE thinks someone is planting these things...

Wonder if the third thing was the basket off the front...?

Did she have a basket on the front of her bike? I don't recall them mentioning one. Other easily removable parts from the bike that they have shown may be the handlebar covers or the reflectors or the seat.

Cotton is Harvested in October for Missouri,

Migrant works most often stay in what are refereed to as Farm villages.

Corn should've been harvested by now, right? I know it is here. We're finally getting local corn.

Does anyone this could be a repeat offender? Have there been abductions in this area in the past?

Sorry if I'm way off... just trying to think of everything.

off to google I go

Some evidence is released (not sure if this has been posted yet.)

Police Chief Omar Karnes says two of the three items are training wheels. He says they cannot be positive they are the ones that were on Breeann's pink bike. The bike is also missing.

"We aren't sure they are hers," said Chief Karnes. "We sent them off to the crime lab."
Chief Karnes says they can not disclose the third item yet.

"We found one wheel Tuesday afternoon and the other Wednesday," said Chief Karnes.

This is what I had suspected right off the bat but, the question is...why toss out just the training wheels and not the entire bike?

To me, (if these are Breeann's TW's) then this is a sign of a very twisted perp who's enjoying taunting LE in his quest of this abduction and sad to say but, this does not feel like it's going to be a good outcome...I'm sick! :(

As I recall them saying, by the time they found the 1st wheel and completed processing it, it was too dark and they had to take up the search again in the morning.

Right but he also said he thought they were planting the evidence to mislead them so did they miss the second wheel the first time around or was it placed there after? :sigh:

Corn would be September if it is for feed and last Oct, if it is a rotation crop that is going to be rolled under...

BBM

So that almost makes it sound like the "odor" that was mentioned earlier was actually a scent and that is why the SAR dogs were brought in. Does that mean that they were just brought in yesterday or today for the 1st time?

If those training wheels are from her bike WHO would have taken them off and thrown them in the brush? Not someone grabbing a kid. Makes me very suspicious of the family. Did the girl get into trouble and the bike taken away from her? Did someone in anger take those wheels off and throw them? Where is the bike?

I have read the father said he left at 10:00 to go to an auction. What time did he return home? (I am not pointing fingers at the father.... just wondering how long he was gone and was the mom maybe asleep the whole time and never saw her from the window)

In the Today video, there are people in black shirts with K-9 Unit written on the back and there are people with yellow shirts with K9 written on it. Looks like two different teams. I didn't notice that before and the reporter only mentioned cadaver dogs in the story (of course...)

Who saw the white van? Did the same person see the kids riding bike?

I have a feeling something happened within the family. Some anger issue and I fear the girl is dead. I think the story of her disappearing while riding bike is a lie.

 Sorry....there was no Basket....

God, I hope it's just the bike he's disassembling and Breeann is safe somewhere. I don't even want to go there.

But think about it.... what kind caring good person would be hiding a little girl from her family?

I'm not getting that feeling at all in this case.

What makes you feel something went wrong in the family???? I have seen nothing or read nothing to give me this indication....just curious on your thoughts Miimaa!!

I am. The interview I saw the mom looked down the whole time. I wonder if the neighbors saw the kids riding bike that day.

So the dad leaves at 10:00 to go to an auction and B is still asleep. By 11:30 she has been up - dressed - presumably ate something - riding bike - taken? Doesn't sound believable. COULD have happened but I don't think so.

I still have hope. I'm thinking some older kid who was bored. Stole the bike and Breeann followed him or recognized him and now he's scared. Not sure where he'd be hiding her though. Maybe he's too afraid to get caught. IDK

Anyway that's my hopeful story. My mind does go to the evil disgusting pedophile who might have harmed Breeann but until we have evidence to suggest that she is believed to be deceased, I'll cling to hope.

Unless there were distinguishing marks, how would LE confirm whether the training wheels belonged on her bike or not?

What would be the point in removing the training wheels and tossing them?
