I have been following this case since the beginning but am now finding myself having several questions.
1.) Who reported the suspicious white van? Where is this van information coming from? I know LE is keeping their eyes peeled and checking all white vans out but I am worried that it has been a false lead.
2.)Do the father and mother work? What is their income source?

Where is the bike and why take off the training wheels?
I had a thought that perhaps the bike was put/hidden in something like a tool box often found on the back of pick up trucks. What if the perp needed to hide the bike into a small space and the training wheels had to be removed to make it fit.

The only reason I can think of to take off the training wheels would be to disguise the bike. If the media is constantly reporting that the bike has training wheels, and that's what police are on the lookout for (a bike with training wheels..) then the easiest and quickest way to disguise it would be to just take them off.

Thanks you two. Glad I'm not alone. It got me yesterday morning too, lol. I think I tend to not pay much attention to the smileys.

Don't beat your self CN!

You were just praying the way we're supposed to...as if it had already been granted!

I gotta get to work but was just wondering if it is true that the parents failed the polygraphs?

OT: I remember that well. We live in the DC area and I was (very) pregnant at that time - and afraid to go anywhere. We frequent the Home Depot where one of the victims was killed...

I didn't know if the Daily Mail was believable that is why I'm asking.

Good morning all. Got a PM about coming over here to help with some confusion on the dogs in the case. Can someone point me to the posts involved and I'll see what I can figure out?

Also why can't they get straight what she was wearing,

Some say: Pink Short, others say Purple Short, than others say Pink and Purple pants...

Tell me about it BM...way too close to home! I was pregnant too. Count me in as one of those who called in more than one tip on those d*mn white box trucks, as I traveled up and down the highway, passing several of the locations that were hit.

The father supposedly said it himself on NG show last night, on NG blog she does not mention it.

Ah thank you. I didn't watch NG. I'm out to work. :( Prayers for little Breeann to be found soon.

Good Morning sarx! Basically, the reports that have shown up in MSM, until yesterday did not specify that SAR dogs were being used. There had only been mention of generic dogs and cadaver dogs. The sheriff had mentioned an odor that had been detected, but there was confusion as to whether the odor was picked up by cadaver dogs or SAR dogs. The sheriff clarified yesteday that it was a scent that had been picked up.

Here are 2 pics that I screen captured of the K9 teams shown on one of the videos...

Not sure if there is a way to tell what types of K9 units they are.

From that article...

Karnes said one of the training wheels was found by a Senath Firefighter on Tuesday, and the other was found during a search of the area where the first one was found.

Karnes said he does not feel that the training wheels are from the child's bicycle, however, her father, Edgar Rodriguez, believe they are.

"I don't believe they are," Rodriguez said. "They are the training wheels. I know they are. I did something specific to them in order to make them workable with Breeann's bike. The way they were wore out on one side more than the other and the way they were bent in a particular place, there is no question in my mind."

"The dad said that," Karnes said. " There is no proof on that. No law enforcement has said that."

Karnes said the wheels are new, showing no signs of rust or age, and are currently at the state crime lab.

Karnes said the Federal Bureau of Investigation has given polygraph tests to the parents, and he feels the parents are clear.

I wonder when the training wheels were put on her bike????

Thanks Hollye. Just read the one article, well, that's confusing reporting at best. I could make a hundred guesses as to what they mean, but that is all it would be. Will keep digging and see if I can find anything else out.
