No one can get into a 15 year-old's head. They have varied influences and backgrounds. My daughter went a little crazy when she hit 15. She was raised in a good home but got in with a bad crowd. I was a good mom and even taught her at home for most of her life but it's hard to counteract the influences. She was sneaking out at night after we went to bed. By the time she was caught, she had experienced things that blew my mind. I had to deal with cutting, drugs, gynocologists, etc. I had 3 older kids who went through none of this. We got her into counselling immediately and she got a little better. However, along came an older guy who tried to help her. She moved out, got into a whole slew of bad influences and all I could do is turn to prayer for her. She returned home 8 months later, hooked on drugs and listening to underground rap. Let me tell you, that music is horrible. We threw all her music out, went through detox, etc. She is now 21, graduated from culinary art school with honors, has a decent job and a great boyfriend. She attributes some of her ill behavior as to losing her grandmother. They were very, very close. Sorry for the rambling but you cannot try and figure this AB out. She WILL look back and wonder how in the world she did this horrible crime. I think some kids just lose it for awhile. I'm sure she already regrets it but she can never take it back. It's a horrible situation from both ends of the spectrum. I am broken hearted for all the families involved.

Nothing confirmed of a pre-dug grave, at this point, so we don't know.

I was told that the place where the body had been concealed had been prepared ahead of time. Now whether that meant she scouted out a place or dug a grave, I don't know. As you said, it has not been confirmed by LE.

I was checking in to see if we knew how the body was so well concealed that it's location was missed in the first search. Is it true that the body was buried and the grave was dug much before the murder? Or am I about to get in trouble for a rumor?

It is unusual that the Sheriff was the last person to visit Currie. Then again, they were friends and Currie was ill. If Currie was aware of anything, do you think we will ever hear? I doubt it. He can't testify in court since he took his own life. Which makes one wonder even more what he knew.

My guess since they were friends and had worked together, that the sheriff shared details of the case with him and it added to his depression since he tried to help out troubled kids.

Also, AB wouln't have had him for a teacher. He taught Jrs and Srs only.

Here's a link to dear old "Dad"...
Type in AB's last name and first initial C
https://web.mo.gov/doc/offSearchWeb/

Noticed on the Dad's info that he's only 34...which would have made him 18/19 at the time his daughter was born. Not saying it has any relevance but as my Grandmother says...too often these days kids are having kids and can't raise 'um right.

I believe at this point it's still rumor.

Oh, and for those that wondered earlier, ABs Dad and Elizabeth's Dad/Brother are not in the same prisons.

I confuse about the turtles thing.
But the comment from that article about how Elizabeth die... if true.....that would be a lot a blood and I would thought that LE would seem some kind blood in that area.

also make me think (if true) that AB would had been cover in blood....
having a hard time with that comment.

I'm sorry to say that my 16 yo daughter is going through the same thing right now. I'm glad your daughter is doing well now!

Correct, and now they will be put on an "enemy" list and they will NEVER be in the same prison!

My most recent thought is that she was supposed to be over at a friends house or something and waiting in the woods for Elizabeth to walk by. That would explain how she got the body to where it was so quickly. And was able to get the blood off herself before going home. That would also explain why maybe the police wouldn't have questioned her when they were first looking for Elizabeth. The GPs would have said, "oh she's over at a friends house tonight"

Oh also, it started raining before that area was searched. So the blood would have washed away.

BBM
I think it was raining during the search. I'm not sure about the night of the murder.

You beat me to it Crimecurious! :)

Still wondering if Elizabeth went over to this particular house, as a daily after-school care type thing.

IMO the best thing you can do for your daughter is to be there for her, tell her you love her no matter what, tell her you will be there anytime she wants to talk, cry, vent, whatever. When I was that age, I probably would not have taken my mom up on an offer to talk - but it certainly would have helped to know she noticed and cared. I hope your situation improves.

I'm sorry for all of the posts. But I've been gone since yesterday and have tons of new info. Right now I'm in the process of deciding and figuring out what's considered rumor and not rumor.
