wondering if they're referencing tonite:

African American lawyers will hold a public hearing and discussion on Thursday night at Greater St. Mark Family Church in Ferguson. Among their actions, a $60 million dollar civil rights lawsuit updated Thursday in federal court in downtown St. Louis.

“These people have been brutalized or arrested for no reason. That is what we’re focusing on. That is what we want to hold them accountable for.” said Attorney Greg Lattimer.

Had to edit my reply, it's now simply $$$$$

Are these people watching the same protests I am?

Someone needs to download all of these livefeeds. I think some are going to go poof. We have seen how many of these 'peaceful' protests have gone down. And some of the individuals and their actions. The cops have recorded a lot too.

Brutalized??????

:sigh:

I get that in those first few days when tear gas etc., was used some people were hurt. But why wouldn't that be a reasonable expectation going in??? It was obvious things were out of control and people were getting hurt, so how one could go to such a protest and not expect to get hurt is beyond me.

Since then the only ones being brutalized are police IMO

On the first 2 nights the cops had every reason to use tear gas. There was a lot of violence in the streets and arson and gunshots. They needed to get a handle on it.

The last weeks have been much less so. But still there were necessary arrests. Sometimes they would arrest one or two agitators to calm the rest down. And the arrests at the Highway Shutdown Attempt were totally warranted, imo.

The police have been very reserved in their arrests imo.

I just read tweets that the meetings have been canceled.

The woman, who CNN is not identifying, said in an interview with reporters on the doorstep of her home that she hadn’t used her Twitter account in months and thought she had deleted it.

“I didn’t care for it because I just don’t get the whole Twitter thing,” she said, adding that someone had hacked her account and posted spam in the past.

She further said that she knew no one on the grand jury hearing Wilson’s case and told CNN she had left a voicemail for St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch about the tweet. She hasn’t heard back from his office, she said.

“It had to have been hacked,” she said of her account. “I promise you I did not do any of this.”

Perceptions at play here. Does not look good to have this statement standing alone. I would imagine and would hope that SOMEONE followed up with her. It would be disturbing if NO ONE looked into it. I am hoping a County investigator contacted her and MSM is just twisting things by only reporting the portion where she said McCulloch's office didn't contact her.

There is another quote from her from another reporter where she said ' I have already spoken to the authorities. No Comment.'

I can almost guarantee you there have been some innocent people victimized. The problem, as always, will be weeding out those with legitimate claims from those with bogus claims.

Without even getting into a discussion of people on the street, some were in their homes or backyards if I remember correctly.

CNN segment about Susan Nichols' Grand Jury tweet with interview Oct 2 2014

I would love for some transparency here and for someone in charge to say what they've done to look into it and there is or is not anything to it. Tell me you're tech guys did some stuff I would never understand and confirmed it was hacked and the tweet was sent from Istanbul.

Crump stated the GJ should be redone if there was misconduct after reading the tweet that basically said there wasn't enough evidence to arrest DW. I wonder if his reaction would have been the same if the tweet had said her friend told her there was a mountain of evidence against DW and they were likely to issue an indictment. Hmmmm....

Police would investigate, not the prosecuting atty; I assume the msg was passed along to appropriate dept ?
