It is entirely possible that Brown was in the process of falling from his wounds IMO. If Wilson's account is what I think it will be no amount of monday morning quarterbacking can say officer Wilson should have stopped shooting as his aggressor was falling because there IMO there is no time for the brain to process whether a man is hit, is falling, is coming down into a tackle stance, is falling forward or is rushing forward. We are discussing events that happened in the course of seconds, milliseconds even.

All of the above is just my opinion and no link will be provided.

Well said. I'll only add that imo it was MB's unprovoked sucker-punching DW's head/face that may have impaired his thinking ability, if "poor judgment" ends up being the claim against him.

I am finding it harder and harder to believe no one took a decent vid/pix of "murder" with all those cameras out there.

IMHO it's in GJ hands

I can see someone hitting record when OW backed up after starting to drive away.
Even if the hadn't started to record yet seeing the officer back up would send me "UH OH you're in trouble now"thoughts and getting it all recorded would be my goal. I would love to see that someday! I can hope...

IMO MB was not "falling", the wounds he received in his right arm were just that, non immediately life threatening wounds which means the injuries could not begin to stop a 300 lb 6'4" violent individual.

I believe MB was coming at Off. Wilson with his head down so he could tackle/plow him down and take control of the gun, or more likely strangle/beat him to death. There is a reason football players crouch over when they want to tackle an opponent, and I believe that is exactly what MB did.

"I Don't Support a Race / I Support the TRUTH."

I'd like to think this is the case for all of us here, no matter whether we tend to think,
w the info we have now, that if new info shows us our current thinking is wrong, we can change our minds.

I hope nobody here is absolutely, positively nailed down on one 'side' or the other.

It seems some are getting confused about the law as it pertains to LE and regular citizens.

If you are a regular citizen and you have been assaulted, punched in the face, someone has gone for your gun, and there has been a struggle and your gun has gone off BUT the threat has left, YOU, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE TO PURSUE THEM AS LONG AS THE THREAT IS NO LONGER PRESENT (not yelling- just caps for emphasis). If you do decide to pursue the threat after the threat is no longer present, and you shoot and kill them, you can be charged with murder.

This DOES NOT apply to LE. They are NOT required to meet this same standard. IF a suspect flees the scene of a crime, it is THEIR JOB to pursue said suspect. If suspect does not comply with LE orders, it is THEIR JOB to make certain they comply.

Please, let's understand that these are two completely different categories here.

Okay, I have some questions. One concerns the robbery at the store. Did the store owner know MB? How far was the store from where MB lived? If the owner knew MB why wasn't MB afraid the crime would be reported??? And why was there no concern with DJ, who really did not want to get on the wrong side of LE, with complying with what the officer asked them to do?

I never get ANYTHING good recorded. For some reason I can't avert my eyes long enough to photograph or video.

Even tournaments, or special moments my own kid...I bring along someone else to do it.

Still life and posed...I'm awesome...

I'd make the worst videographer/ photojournalist on the planet!!!

I'm always amazed by those that are able to perfectly capture stuff and think in a split second .."I'm gonna document this"
Kudos!

Did Mike Brown play football for his school?

I turned it off after about 9 seconds when she said, "he shot that LITTLE BOY"

If 6'4 and 292 lbs is little, I'd hate to see what she considers big :scared:

They were non compliant. DJ gives an excuse (not far from destination) and does not say they were moving towards sidewalk. Reported that when OW backed up he said what did you say, as if they smart mouthed him as he was leaving. That makes me think they were being defiant. Regardless of circumstance, once you lay a hand on a cop, at minimum, you are going to jail. Lawyers for both men claim there was a major tussle in car, OW did receive medical care. It is reported that OW ordered MB to freeze, which he didn't. It's tragic and sad, but MB seemingly did everything to escalate the situation.

Sorry, If he left, then he was not too concerned about what they were doing. I don't see anywhere where they refused. If they did he would not have pulled away.
And again, That is not a crime punishable by death.

Jaywalking is not anything more than a citation and moving on. You don't get arrested for jaywalking.

Yeah, falling tripping, on his way down for whatever reason...maybe while rushing in a bull like manner etc the key... IMO he was moving FORWARD toward the officer. IMO

JMO This was asserted by "Josie" who claimed to be a friend of DW's SO, speaking on behalf of DW that he was being rushed at by MB. It was also claimed by Michael Brady that MB took a couple of steps Forward before collapsing. Rushing? Staggering? Reliable sources? We will have to wait and see how this unfolds. JMO

That has been my theory also since the day the Baden autopsy was released and I have stated that several times in the days since. But that is my interpretation and I am leaving room for others to be just as valid as mine. regardless, I feel, based on what we know at this point that this shooting is justified whether MB was performing a rushing tackle at OW or was simply advancing in a menacing fashion and the officer continued to fire per his training and MB began to fall forward as that was happening.

I have my theory. But even if my theory is not the correct one, my point is, IF MB received the shot to the head while falling forward it does not change my opinion that the shooting would still be justified in that circumstance.

Ditto for me. :)
