What is really in balance here is that the AA population in Ferguson wants respect and equality. I want them to have it, too. If the AA community doesn't understand the difference between respect and equality, then I'm not confident that they (the AA population for those who are offended by the word "they") will ever be able to attain their goal.
So sad because I believe there are many, many beautiful families who are being "painted" by the loud and ignorant actions of those whose skin color matches, or not, theirs.
Color me dumb ~ but I believe, at this juncture, both races must try to trust one another. But I am only seeing blaming, aggression and a lack of effort to be informed re the laws on one side. Lol, this will never lead to trust!
