So they didn't have any way to call for a much needed ambulance themselves? Were they too badly injured? How did they get hurt? Maybe from whipping their cells out too quickly when trying to get the license plate number of the guy they surrounded?

I'm expecting to see that poor man's name, address, phone # and SS posted on twitter soon :(

ITA.

Hey, protest your hearts out - peacefully but why mess with people who want no part of their delusions and why antagonize drivers who simply want to get down a street?

And why have a dozen people start taking pictures of your license plate before the incident ever happened, yelling..."I've got it, I've got it." Wouldn't that be considered a conspiracy?

ITA Lamby!
I think this is one of the 'plans' they were tweeting about. Let's antagonize peeps and turn it around and see how THEY feel about getting arrested. THEY can see police brutality, unfairness and how unjustified the system is.

ETA: I wonder if the police would see it that way too?

I believe we need some sleuthers to really watch this video a couple of times and pick up some of the oddities. First it seems to be the first car carrying a white male who is alone and they immediately surround the front end of his car to make sure he can't move...no high fives, no handshakes as was done with the other cars. And somehow this driver just happens to hit the white intern while he is trying to slowly drive away from this mess. Obviously a group of people yelling and screaming "I've got it, I've got it", that they have your marker number BEFORE there is an incident has to set off a hinky meter somewhere in this world. Was he targeted? What do you think???

BBM. A simple "yes."

Ah! Per twitter and a bunch of the Ferguson tweeters, looks like they're using #thankapoliceofficerday today derisively, so these events may have been orchestrated.

Interesting tweets here. Warning: bad language in some.

Sounds like Josh, the guy who issued threats while holding his tiny one at the council meeting was arrested, as were others, and they're saying the driver entered the police car uncuffed.

Oh my god! Posting personal info and photo of officer Wilson's neighbor??!

The intern clearly put his hands on that man's car. The other supposed "guy" that she claims is her's is sitting on the car hood. Shouldn't they know better working for a US Senator? And then she tweets that the man is KKK.

IMO shes a dangerous sociopath

I watched that stupid video about 5 times. This is what I think happened. The protestors, including backpack guy, surrounded the car and stood there, up against it. And after a minute or so, everyone else rushes over, including Mustafa, camera man. I THINK that the driver had slowly inched forward, just before everyone else rushed him. And when he did that, the backpack guy yelled and began kicking his front bumper. Which got evryones attention and they all rushed him. And then, after they were all snapping his picture, taking shots of his license, because he had dared to inch forward, and slightly tapped backpack man, the driver turned right quickly, to escape the mob. And he may or may not have hit the cameraman. The video does not show he was hit. Just that he dropped the camera and yelled. It might have just bbeen a close call, Who knows.

These protesters change their tune daily, I can't keep up. Hands up...oops, no. Now it's FIST up and only 1. Not sure how that changed but ok.

Probably because the hands up narrative fell apart!

Three arrested in Ferguson after protester says he was struck by car

The driver was arrested, along with a protester who damaged the man’s car. A third man was taken into custody when he ignored police orders to get out of the roadway.

Jackson said no one reported any injuries, but some protesters alleged on social media that some of them were hurt, and criticized police for not calling for ambulances or medical assistance.

IMO not enough arrests were made. Far from it. It's a sad friggin day when law abiding citizens shopping at a farmers market are intimidated, surrounded, screamed at...it's outrageous!!!!!
Every person hassled today should match themselves down to city hall and the police department and file a complaint!
Everyone needs to stop coddling these thugs!

Soooo....I wanna get this straight. The "grown ups" are doing naughty language sidewalk chalk......and the children are leading death chants via microphone and bull horn......

Just imagine what the grown ups might do with a weapon like Legos....and what the kids might do with assault rifles.......

Good one! Yes. These are wonderful upstanding citizens and future non voters :)

But they let the driver go, I think because he was on the phone with police. Had he hit one of them they never would have let him take off. It was after they moved away that the backpacker claims he was hit. What bothers me is that they all seemed to gang up on this one car when they let the car in front of him turn around with no problems.

I would have laid on the horn and kept driving.

Hopefully, some of her fellow politicians begin to call her out publicly on her outrageous, probably criminal behavior. She needs to resign, or be voted out of office. IMO.

Pffft!
Some people have to learn the hard way that standing in the street & deliberately intimidating people isn't safe....I'm willing to teach em!

Frankly I'm a little shocked they weren't tossing their children in front of the cars.
