Oh my. First of all, I didn't bring up any "rumor" about OW until TheDuchess said she never heard any stories about him. I provided one. Not once did I give my personal opinion as to whether or not I believed said story, and I have said no less than 6 times in the last 30 minutes on this thread that THE ONLY REASON I BROUGHT UP THE STORY WAS BECAUSE THEDUCHESS SAYS SHE'S NEVER HEARD ANY.
I don't care whether OW pulled a kid over for blowing a stop sign a week before he shot MB. I do not care whether Mike Brown smoked a joint before he was shot. I just don't. Clearly others do, and that's absolutely fine. But I've got a bunch of folks in this forum jumping all over every single word I'm saying, and clearly nothing is being accomplished. I'm trying to be fair, and I'm trying to answer the questions that are asked of me. Most of the people asking questions are not asking my personal views, they're asking what "protestors" think. Im trying my best to share their thoughts, but please try to understand that while I support their right to PEACEFULLY demonstrate, and while I am working my butt off to educate and register voters in Ferguson, I do not always share their views or opinions. It is not fair for people to ask me questions about how I think the protestors feel about certain things, and then those same people jump on me for answering. Either my words get twisted (such as the poster who mused whether or not it was possible for there to be an "incident of harrassment", or being accused of caring whether OW pulled a kid over for blowing a stop sign a week before the incident), or people jump in long enough to say they're leaving the forum because of the philosophical talk. I can't win for losing. Clearly, opposing views aren't tolerated here- which is fine- but trying to fairly answer all these questions without allowing my emotions to get involved has been quite the task.
