I don't believe I missed the point -- it's an opinion that I do not subscribe to. Until "countless others" or MB supporters or whatever one calls those who make this tragedy a "race thing" stop making things about race, we will always be a divided society.
I believe I fully realize the dynamics at play with this incident as I have lived in this area on & off for many yrs (went to Grad School here); it's been made into yet another "racist" thing (and political). However, to me it's more about RESPECT for oneself & authority (or lack there of). I will never change my mind.
Want to talk racism -- try being a Native American

as we have discussed ad nauseam, it's an individual choice how to perceive things even if raised in a family/community that ingrained cr@p into you. Life is 10% what happens to you & 90% how you react to it.
I respect LEOs, fightighters, EMTs & anyone who is paid diddly-squat to help keep up safe & protected. I support ODWs right to Due Process which is ensured by the Constitution.
But I respect everyone's opinion
some opinions I just cannot understand, but I sure do respect them.
