I've been at the VA all morning and just getting in. So ppl think LE set this fire, for real?

Well, some said racists, or police sympathizers, and deli guy at first, but it seems Piaget has convinced them it was LE.

Why would a black citiizen ever want to be a cop in Ferguson?

I have a feeling that Ferguson's PD will be dissolved like the other communities in that area & will be assimilated into the County's realm of responsibility

as far as I know nothing but a "tool" for the protesters IMHO - feeling bad for Officer Ron now, too

Johnson was at the highway shutdown event, which makes sense as he's Highway Patrol, but otherwise I don't see where he fits in now. Chief Jackson seems firmly in control of the Ferguson PD.

The fire department claims to have put the fire out with water. I was always told don't try to put a gasoline fire out with water. The extinguisher may have been used to put out the fire on the pole. I would think because the poles, themselves are highly flammable putting gasoline on the pole would have cause the whole pole to go up in flames.

Piaget Crenshaw posted on her FB page "Police burned down Mike Brown memorial." Edit history shows that she originally posted "They burned down..." and changed it to "Police burned down...."

But she also says she didn't see who did it.

Naw, the RFT is more of a weekly print that has ads for titty-bars, who's playing at what venue in & around StL, and a few op-ed pieces. It has dwindled down from a thick weekly paper to now a skinny weekly paper due to the lack of advertisements.

I like that RFT has built up the Web presence but it's not a "legitimate" newspaper like the Post-Dispatch (LOL) -- kind of like The Reader in Chicago or City Pages in Minneapolis/St. Paul . . . more of a "social" paper than news paper IMHO but it is a source of information in StL metro.

Ray Hartman used to own it (friend of a friend of mine) but I think he sold out once printed media saw the decline . . . my friend, Jen, used to sell advertisement for RFT & made bank! But that was way back in the 90s :laugh:

I will tell you from 7a to 11a on KMOX 1120am there are all kinds of people calling in to discuss Ferguson; amazed by those who just don't know stuff; i.e., that telephone/electric poles are flammable :laugh:
